It would be lot much profitable if those boats deployed could be manufactured here in Lagos

The size of those boats are reasonable for which NEW BUILD CONSTRUCTION is 100% doable by the Lagos State Government under Mr Sanwo-Olu.

Why always import the boat we can deride to roll out MADE - IN - LAGOS - BOATS.
If we cant build a ship then we should build a boat. This will give rise to full adequate maintenance culture and control in the system and the state.
All these will provide more jobs for our people.

Few days back, Lagos Govt. launched Uber Boat, very commendable. But what efforts is in place for proper adequate routine maintenance on same boats?

Further question? the boat when watched on TV are not more than 10 men seater Pax. Calling on the need to explain modalities of operation is vital, considering the huge amount of Pax to be conveyed holding to the Uber idea. With a thought and understanding of max 2-4 Pax suiting the ideology behind Uber operations and practices.

FGN needs to invest in the shipping industry.
Steel alone can care for more than 500,000 jobs to young men.
Ship building can also care for over 1,000,000 youths
Whilst ships operation can cater for more than 500,000 men all at minimum.
Shipping industry is yet untapped in Nigeria.
Suggestively, the staes government such as Lagos, Rivers, Cross River and Delta or any other oil rich state can invest fully into these industry without any regerets....

Today, 09 March 2018, the FGN said that she won't spend anymore to make a mistake of the OBJ govt on the Ajaokuta Steel Industry...
If FGN realize the huge sum we have lost and are still loosing due to our myopic mind regarding the nonfunctional manufacturing steel industry, it could continuously take care of our annual budget conveniently.
Iron ore is the way forward to improve many great nation like USA, but we are toiling with ours.
The Steel industry is the epitome of good shipping industry. We can build our own ship in Nigeria # lies in the functioning of AJAOKUTA/DELTA STEEL COMPANIES in Nigeria.
