Today, as we celebrate 121 years of Rotary’s unwavering commitment to Service Above Self, I am honored to be part of a global family that continues to transform lives and communities. Being a member of Rotary International, District 9141, has strengthened my resolve to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and give back selflessly.

From 1905 to 2026, Rotary has stood as a beacon of hope, championing peace, supporting education, empowering youth, fighting disease, and creating lasting change across the world. This milestone is not just a celebration of years, but of impact, dedication, and the countless lives touched through collective service.

As we mark 121 years of excellence in service, I reaffirm my commitment to the ideals of Rotary and to building stronger communities together. Here’s to continuing the legacy and shaping an even brighter future.

Yesterday in Port Harcourt, I had the distinct honour of joining fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, community leaders, and friends of service at the Rotary International Town Hall Meeting with Francesco Arezzo, President of Rotary International, alongside his wife, Anna Maria Arezzo-Criscione, during his maiden visit to Nigeria.

It was a convergence of leadership, fellowship, and purpose. I am proud to be part of a movement that continues to inspire leadership and transform communities locally and globally.

I was honoured to receive the Wave FM team on a courtesy visit to Endlex Properties. I sincerely appreciate their kind congratulations on my recent chieftaincy conferment and the goodwill expressed during the visit.

Our conversation further reaffirmed the strong, mutually beneficial relationship between Wave FM and Endlex Properties, and I am grateful for their recognition of Endlex as one of their top partners, as well as their pledge of continued collaboration.

I am deeply humbled and sincerely grateful for the great honour bestowed upon me with the conferment of the title Ihie 1 of Umu Ohia Agu Ezi Agwu.

While I may be considered worthy of this recognition due to my commitment to humanitarian service and community development, I firmly believe that this honour is, above all, a privilege from God. It is a divine call to do more, serve more, and remain steadfast in impacting lives positively.

I extend my profound appreciation to His Royal Highness, Ezeogo Godfrey Obia Oko, the Ezeogo of Ndukwe, Amasiri, and the entire Ndukwe Community, Amasiri, for this rare honour and the confidence reposed in me. I do not take this trust lightly.

I am grateful to my family and friends for their unwavering support, prayers, and encouragement through every stage of my journey. It’s been an amazing week engaging my team at Endlex in a professional development retreat with the objective of preparing them for the tasks ahead of us this 2026.

We are grateful for all that we were able to accomplish and learn last year. Our goal this year is to surpass our last year achievements and this intentional and strategic annual retreat is always one of the best tools we deploy.

We know that 2026 will not give us what we deserve but rather, what we negotiate. So, we’ve started negotiating for what we deserve this year. We hope that you are doing the same.

The year is still fresh and I want to remind you of a simple truth I live by: FAILURES MAKE EXCUSES, WINNERS MAKE PROGRESS.

This year, let’s consciously choose progress over excuses. The gap between where you are and where you want to be will not be closed by complaints, blame, or comfort. It will be closed by discipline, sacrifice, consistency, and the willingness to do what others won’t.

Progress demands responsibility. It demands that we show up even when it’s inconvenient, stay committed when results are slow, and remain focused when distractions are loud.

To achieve your goals this year, drop every excuse that held you back last year. Be disciplined and make the necessary sacrifices. Pay the price today so you can enjoy the rewards tomorrow.

I also shared this principle with my team at Endlex Properties in our ongoing intensive training, in preparation for the work ahead.

We have a lot to achieve this year at Endlex and we are determined to achieve them through discipline. That is, our ability to know what to do, when to do it, and decide to do it whether we feel like it or not. That’s what brings and sustains success.

This year to move forward, no excuses, just progress.
