Test running my egg incubator after 5 years of inactivity. The last time I put this on was some time in 2019. Then, I had Turkeys laying about 2-3 eggs a day. I put some eggs in the incubator, and they are meant to be there for 21 days. Everything was going ok until around day 15 when NEPA had another “total grid collapse” episode and we barely had light until day 20 or so. Long story short, out of about 40 eggs I put in, only one hatched — and even that one came out with one eye 😂. So therefore (as Nigerians wrongly say), I decided to keep this machine for a better day. Thankfully, we now have solar inverters powering the house so this is a good time to try this again!
