Ingredients for making SANDWICH:

Bread
Chicken
Egg
Mayonnaise
Tomatoes
Onions
Salt
Blended dry bell peppers
Cucumber
Cabbage
Lettuce
Carrot
Seasonings
Vegetable oil

HOMEMADE BREAD:

INGREDIENTS:
3 Cups all purpose flour
1/2 tbs baking powder
1/2 tsp active yeast
1 egg
1/2 cup butter
7 tbs granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs vegetable oil
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp butter scotch flavour (optional)
5 tbs powdered milk (milk flavour can go)

P.S: tbs=Table spoon
tsp=Teaspoon

PROCEDURE:
1. Grease baking pan;
2. Sieve flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl;
3. Add the sugar, nutmeg, salt, milk and yeast into the bowl and mix;
4. Add the butter, vegetable oil, egg and the butter scotch flavour and mix well;
5. Add in lukewarm water and mix till dough is non-stick;
6. Cover for 30minutes with a clean dry light cloth;
7. Put dough on a floured work table and knead for 10minutes;
8. Put dough in the baking pan and cover for another 15minutes;
9. Bake on a preheated oven or sand pot for 30-35minutes.

P.S: Don't open the oven or pot while baking the bread to avoid bread collapse (the bread wey don rise fit fall)

If you're using a stove to bake (e.g cake), turn the stove to the highest to heat up the sand pot, and when it's hot, place your baking pan and leave the heat like that for 5minutes. At 5minutes turn it low to medium heat and bake for 35-40minutes.

If you're using a camp gas or a top table gas, use medium heat to heat up the sand pot and when it's hot, place your baking pan and leave the heat like that for 3minutes then reduce to low heat and bake for 20-25minutes.

HONEY CAKE RECIPE

Ingredients:
1. Butter (1 cup)
2. Honey (1/2 cup)
3. Eggs (4 large eggs)
4. Flavour (butter scotch flavour)
5. Baking powder
6. Nutmeg (optional)
7. Flour (2 cups)

Procedure:
1. Grease your cake pan with little butter and dust with a little flour (I'm using a 6inches cake pan for this procedure)
2. Cream your butter and honey together till it's fluffy
3. Add your eggs one after the other (don't add all the eggs at once. Adding it one after the other will enable the cake rise)
4. Add the flavour and keep creaming
5. Add the nutmeg and keep creaming
6. Add the baking powder and keep creaming
7. Add the flour and cream( try to avoid lumps in the batter)
8. Pour the batter into the greased pan
9. Place into your pre-heated oven and bake for 35mins( reduce the heat 15mins after placing in the oven)
10. Allow to cool and enjoy with a chill fruit smoothie

LOCALLY USED ITEMS FOR BAKING

1. You don't have a mixer?.. Please, use a bowl or a custard rubber with a wooden kind of pestle called a "cake turner". Some professionals use the normal motar and pestle.

2. You don't have an oven?.. Please, use a stove or a table gas. Get sand or granite or perewinkle shell or empty liquid milk container. Just put whichever one you prefer into a dry pot and place on fire. If you are using a stove, increase the heat to the maximum for 10mins before you place the cake pan containing the batter inside and bake for 15mins, then reduce the heat to normal and bake for another 15-20mins.

If you have a pressure pot, you don't need sand or anything inside it. Just grease the pressure pot and pour your cake batter into the pressure pot and bake for 20mins without preheating the pot.
