ABOUT ME:
Regina Ateb is a hardworking, vibrant, and resilient 500 level Pharmacy Student at the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria, and a true global citizen.
She is passionate about health promotion and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1-4. Regina has volunteered with organizations focused on reducing poverty and founded the Regina Ateb Foundation in 2020, which supports street children, provides sanitary pads for young girls, and helps send children back to school.
Regina is committed to impacting millions by addressing SDGs 1-4, advancing her foundation's work, and increasing her social impact to contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
She aims to inspire positive change not only in the pharmaceutical industry but also in society at large as she continues to expand her knowledge and expertise in the field of pharmacy.
IMPACT:
In Regina Ateb Foundation 4 Years+ of Successful Impact; we have been able to reach out to over 11,278 beneficiaries.
1. Issued Sanitary Pads to 1648 Girls in 3 Secondary Schools in Calabar, Cross River State and 1 Secondary School in Emohua, Rivers State and also in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State.
2. Reached out to 1112 street children living in the Streets of Calabar and in Calabar Dumpsite, Cross River State.
3. Reached out to 1026 Children in 3 Primary Schools in Calabar, Cross River State and adopted 10 Children in 2 of the Low-cost schools in Calabar, Cross River State.
4. Reached out to 343 Orphans in 2 Orphanage homes in Calabar, Cross River State and 1 Orphanage home in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
5. Reached out to 16 elderly people in 1 Aged Home in Calabar, Cross River State.
6. Reached out to 15 Disabled Kids in 1 Port Harcourt Children’s Home in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
7. Reached out to 118 Kids on Children’s in the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Calabar, Cross River State.
7. Reached out to 7000+ People Online.
