Abfillage, a captivating technique that interweaves abstract, figurative, and collage elements. Born in mid-2022, Abfillage masterfully blends painted figures with collaged newspaper or magazine clippings, adorning canvases or paper with a vibrant palette. Intentionally leaving some or all of the attire incomplete, Prosper accentuates the interplay between the written word and the depicted figures. Abfillage serves as a poignant chronicle of contemporary narratives, preserving and highlighting the impact of current events. Through the harmonious fusion of colors and text, Prosper seeks to soften the harsh realities embedded within these stories.

As part of the works which I consider as my "diary" of paintings. A documentation of my experience and interpersonal relationships. The art of storytelling has led me to this.

I have painted this to describe my lonely days,
when I sit and listen while the music plays.
So I relax and let ideas flash like golden rays
and to hear the sound of water waves in ocean bays.

On my lonely days I sit and only gaze
at the world in my mind as it slowly sways.
They are like glory days with an unholy praise
Because I transcend to a whole new phase.

A part of my life is what this painting portrays
A physical work that it's mental background outweighs
Sometimes there is more to what an artist conveys,
More complex than even what he says.

It's like going through a lonely maze.
So sophisticated like advanced essays,
like the ones I compose in my head these days.
I paint, draw, sing and write plays,
coz I can't express myself other than these ways.

They are the only ways I document my mind on lonely days.
So I have painted this to describe one of those days
Where time slowly fades
And my mind goes on holidays.

Having conversations on "Abfillage" sculptures as a means to achieve sustainable and recycling options for the creation of sculptures.
The use of newspapers and eco-friendly recyclable materials to develop durable sculptures strong enough to withstand external weather conditions at the
same time document and create conceptual art out of it.

The painting is more contextual than literal
The controversy that lies between the title and the environment.
Stars can't be seen during the day
Doesn't mean they aren't there.

"Give me a star to reach for" can be analysed in two ways. First, An instance where you try to challenge yourself and you ask someone to set a task for you to accomplish to prove your worth. It's like completing the statement, "Give me a star to reach for and I'll reach for it". A significance of volume of confidence.
The second instance is like asking for a direction, seeking for advice on the path to follow. A sought for guidance. With the believe that it's all you need to get where you want to go. Just that little push.

I have experienced these two
Even while I painted and drew
But even when the sky is blue
I still reach for stars and hope for breakthrough
