Tender Board Support Services personnel need urgently

Skills and Knowledge:
 Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or other relevant fields.
 A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the provision of Tender Board services, gained through operations or excellence roles in planning/ logistics/ materials management/ contracting and procurement.
 Strong E2E process management thinking.
 Experience in managing and engaging diverse and cross-functional teams with a wide variety of tasks, who need to work together closely.
 Strong customer centric mindset.

Key Deliverables:
 Maintain confidentiality of Contract Board (CB) submissions.
 Ensure a quorum will be available at all Contract Boards, taking in to account any CB member that may be ‘conflicted’ view a particular submission coming from within their own organisation.
 Prepare CB Agenda / Minutes. Ensure CB submissions meet the requirements of the CB in terms of sufficiency and quality.
 Check submission ACV against SAP data for consistency.
 Make CB minutes of meeting (document decisions and/or actions) and inform proposers.
 Distribute contract Board actions and proposals in support of Tender Board meetings.
 Control submission deadlines, signatures and changes.
 Coordinate electronic approvals.
 Coordinate emergency Contract Boards.
 Archive Contract Board submissions and minutes.
 Update Ariba with Tender Board submissions.
 Report on the performance of the Contract Board/C&P process against a suite of approved performance indicators.
 Follow-up on process improvement opportunities identified.
 Advice to Contracting and Procurement Community and Contract Holders on applicable tender procedures
 Receipt of tenders and tender opening
 Ensure integrity of tender process
 Assist in management of tender’s receipt, opening and archiving of original tenders.
 Assist in management of receipt of company estimates.
 Archiving and maintaining the physical and virtual archives for all original contract documents, including tender documents, contracts, contract amendments, variations, novation agreements and other similar matters based on Group Records Management Policy for Contracting and Procurement.

Preferably who had worked on hydro turbines and who had worked on Generator assembling.
We expect all fitters to be very skilled and should be able to make use of filler gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers etc.
Fitters should also be able to give fitment to an assembly by taking appropriate measurements and dimensions.
We expect them to be able to carry out alignment of pump motors as well as the pre-fabrication of structural frame/piping/miter/roll the plate/cut the thread (inner and outer with tap and die).
They should be able to carry out minor repair of small machine tools amongst other things.
