I find it condescending responding to Asari Dokubo because Asari Dokubo is largely a product of crime and the dysfunction of our society. For me, Asari Dokubo is an example of who every decent person of good sense prays not to be like.

While others have reinventing themselves Asari's story is basically his criminal past, pitiable present and unenviable future. At 55 when Asari looks back at his life I am sure he realises what we all see about him. There is nothing to his name more than his inglorious days of murder, kidnapping, r**e and theft, presently he is of no use to society and looking forward he is physically, morally and intellectually of no use to society.

Asari Dokubo as he calls himself presently was fortunate to be born to the family of the renowned Justice Melford Goodhead but that is as far as it goes with Asari Dokubo and any virtue as he has always been the black sheep of his family. Thus mentioning Asari and any decent Rivers person in the same breath is improper as he has never had success at any decent endeavour.

His only attempt at starting an educational institution which he carried to far away Benin Repiblic has also gone south like all his other endeavours. At 55 I believe Asari is not too old to go back to school, so I would suggest he goes and tries to get a tertiary education so he can at least have one good success to his name.

Anyone that knows Asari knows that Inane Invectives are a norm with him as its presently a burden his children and wives have to cope with. It was his character of insolence that provoked his father into cursing him, since that curse from home at a young age Asari has never been able to finish anything he started, standout in any decent endeavour or even make an honest penny in his life. He has turned out to be more like the waste product of his family as he always ends up fighting and insulting everyone that gets close to him.

Crippled by the weight of his inglorious past Asari has become a merchant of conflict that crawls out intermittently to seek relevance on social media with lies, propaganda and half truths. Unfortunately, as social media gives him a platform to air his views it has also given people the chance to see him in all his limitations.

In his penultimate outing Asari in his usual abusive style was shamelessly lying about a non existent mosque he claimed was demolished then he returned this time to his usual pattern of abuses. In this case he took it too far as with a sword in hand he threatened a sudden end to the Governor's constitutionally given mandate.

Although physically the crippled man is long past use to any man (or WOMAN ) as he was most likely helped into his chair to do that video, Asari being a man with a murderous criminal history cannot totally be ignored. I would like Asari to know that notice has been taken of his threat to truncate our Governor's 2nd term in office. I want to assure Asari that his plans would fail as others have failed in the past but he would be held fully responsible, I repeat Asari would be held fully responsible if there is even the slightest incidence or attempt on the Governors security through out his stay in office.

Husband beats wife into coma for having s*x with another lover in matrimonial bed

A man has been arrested by the police for beating his wife into a state of coma after he caught her having s*x with another man in their matrimonial bed.
The 35-year-old man in Ghana, Kofi Bandoli, was arrested by Awutu Bereku district police station.
It was gathered that the man went to work and tried to call his wife who was at home for some information but tried several times and couldn’t reach her.

He then decided to go home and see whether something had happened to her because this was unusual.

As he approached his room, he heard the sounds of someone moaning only to find his wife having s*x with her lover.
Angered by what he witnessed, Bandoli pounced on his wife and beat the hell out of her until she fell into a state of coma. Her lover quickly fled the scene.

The woman is currently receiving treatment at Awutu Breku Hospital while police have indicated that they will arraign the husband before court.

The Senate joint committee on Navy, Maritime and Finance has threatened to issue a warrant of arrest on the DG NIMASA, Dr. Dakuku Peterside.

During plenary today, the Committee said the reason it might issue an arrest warrant is due to the alleged failure of Dr. Peterside to appear before the panel.

DECEIVING CATHOLICS IN NIGERIA

Benson Idahosa once told his pastors: "If Catholics know what they have, and if Catholic priests get it right, you will be out of business."

Look at all the powerful spiritual resources in the Catholic Church: the Bible and sound interpretation from experts, the Mass, the sacraments, various novenas, Eucharistic adoration, the rosary, the various spiritual groups in the Church.

Yet, you let deceivers deceive you.

They tell you that Catholics are not born again. You leave your church to theirs and all you see is that "born again" means the license to live in sin and just believe in Jesus' name and everything is okay. Thus, you live in sin but don't feel guilty. They become worse sinners than they ever were before they left the Catholic church. The Catholic Church accepts that it is a church of saints and sinners. We see sin as sin and we feel guilty when we sin. But you leave for a church where they live in sin but feel self-righteous. "Born again" has become the killing of conscience against guilt, but not a conversion from sin. Instead of teaching people to avoid sin, they teach people to simply not feel guilty over sin.

In the Catholic Church, your priests direct you to pray and do not enslave you to themselves with false prophecies. They don't make you believe that only their prayers will work for you. Instead, they direct you to pray and do not make themselves the sources of your blessings. Yet, you leave for churches where people tell you that they are the only ones who will pray for you before God can answer favourably.

They condemn fundraisings, such as Bazaar, but they milk their members dry and make their members see failure to pay tithe as a sin, but fornication and adultery are not preached against. Their church members are more afraid of not paying tithe than they are of fornication, adultery and abortion.

You leave your church because your church does not preach prosperity as a proof of holiness. Then, you go to a church where someone tells you to donate your life earnings and savings in order to prosper. However, for the years you are there, the only ones prospering are the pastors telling you this and collecting your money. Where is the prosperity for which you left your church?

Everybody is becoming a pastor, an apostle, or evangelist and they are all opening churches in wealthy cities. There are no sinners in villages? With all the great education which Catholic priests have and can use to make great wealth if they choose to, they live in villages with the people and do not preach prosperity as a proof of righteousness. Catholic priests are the most educated church leaders in Nigeria and they can use their education to make big money if they were to go after money. Yet, they are priests in villages. That does not appeal to you, Catholics?

They move on the streets in cities looking for members and distributing handbills where fake testimonies say: "When I started worshipping in this church, I built a house." "As soon as I started attending this church, I got my American visa." So, all the people who have built houses left the Catholic church before they could build houses? No Catholic owns a house? All the people who have got visas to America left the Catholic Church before they got American visas? No Catholic has got American visa and there are no Catholics abroad? How many people have built houses and gone to America since leaving the Catholic Church?

In order to keep you in their churches, they claim to be prophesying that they see God using you in America and Europe. Why is God not calling you to use you in your village where there is poverty, no electricity, good road and big cars? There are sinners in America and Europe but none in your village? Has God converted everyone in your village? You heard those prophecies years ago, but you are still where you were - in Nigeria. How is America? How is Europe? What country are you in Europe? Since you are now in Europe and America and wealthy, can you, in Christian charity, send me some dollars, Euros or pounds? Even if you have travelled to America or Europe, how is that a reason to leave your church? Is it America you are looking for or God and salvation?

When have all the reasons for which Catholics leave their church in Nigeria become a reason for the existence of a church? Even if these are the reasons for the existence of a church, who has more houses, money and American visas more than Catholics?

Behaviour, righteous behaviour, is the sign that a person knows God. Put all the Catholics in Nigeria on one side and put non-Catholics on the other let us see. Is there better godliness among non-Catholics than among Catholics in Nigeria?

A friend of mine working in the Christian Pilgrimage Board of one of the states in Nigeria told me that everybody in the pilgrimage board had a title of Christian leadership: pastor, deacon/deaconess, apostle, evangelist, Rev. Fr., prophet/prophetess, man of God. Yet, he said, the corruption in the Christian Pilgrimage Board was worse than that in any other department of the government house.

Remember, Paul said he preached the crucified Christ (1Cor. 1:23; and 1Cor. 2:2). He said this so that the faith of believers would not be based on anything but on Christ crucified. Today, wealth is the standard of righteousness and the strategy for hunting for church membership. People are being hunted and deceived into churches, not so that they can know Christ, but so that the hunters can be rich.

Remember that Satan tempted Jesus to worship him for the sake of wealth, but Jesus rejected Satan's offer, so that he would not make wealth the reason for faith. Today, people are worshipping Satan by making wealth the reason for worshipping God. The very temptation that Jesus overcame to teach us a lesson, is what people are succumbing to and using as an attraction for church membership. Wherever wealth or prosperity is the reason for church membership, such a church is a centre for devil worship.

If only you know what you have as a Catholic!

'My Husband Divorced Me Just Because I Told Him To Allow Me Sleep With His Friend'- Wife

A Nigerian woman identified as Linda has landed in trouble in Lagos after she passionately pleaded with her husband, Okey, to allow her to sleep with his friend in order to get pregnant after over 8 years of marriage without a child.

According to reports, the incident happened at Agodo Egbe, Ikotun area of Lagos, where they reside.

The request has put Linda in serious trouble as the husband ordered her out of their matrimonial home for daring to make such demand.

LINDA SPEAKS: “I am now living with my relations at Ikorodu area of Lagos, I have been sending emissaries to my husband begging for forgiveness over the demand but he refused. “My Husband Okey, is an international businessman, who deals on different wares which he imports for distribution. He also has many choice properties both in Lagos and southeast but the major challenge had been inability to bear a child. “We got married several years ago after our traditional marriage and wedding but since then, we have been childless. we have had both medical and spiritual solutions yet i was not able to get pregnant."

The doctors had told her that her husband had low s***m count, and even he was being treated, it has yielded no no results.

Linda continues: “I became worried about what will become my fate if I had no child. My husband said he was tired of taking any drugs and then concentrated on traveling from one country to another for business transactions.

“We got married and have been having the issue but my husband did not buy the idea of adopting a baby. I told him as a way of finding a solution to our problem, that I can sleep with his friend and he would not know he impregnated me during the romp. “But my husband suspected that for me to have suggested his friend, it means i have been sleeping with his friend and merely wanted his consent to normalizing our illicit affair and then decided to send me away.

Her husband had sent her packing because of her request as she wanted a child to consolidate on her marriage.

How I met, fell in love with Diezani — Husband

A former Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Alison Madueke (retd.), has revealed how he met, fell in love and married his wife, Diezani, a former Minister of Petroleum Resources.

Diezani’s husband revealed this in his recently published book titled, ‘Riding the storms with God on my side.’

Narrating how he met the former minister, Madueke said after he lost his first wife, Uche, in 1996, he felt lonely and had the huge task of raising his five children alone.

He said his oldest child, Chinedu, was in her first year at the George Mason University, United States while the youngest children were still in primary school.

The retired naval officer said initially, he did not want to get married again but when he began to entertain the idea, he got support from friends and relatives and he subsequently prayed to God to give him a wife that would love his children unconditionally.

Madueke said he was attending a church known as Victoria Fellowship Church which was founded by white expatriates from the US, England and Germany.

He said at some point in 1998, the church needed to construct a permanent site and two committees were set up to help bring the plan to fruition and Diezani had been appointed into the committee because she was an architect.

Diezani’s husband said, “On Sunday, the two committees had a joint meeting after church service. During the meeting, I noticed a pretty, young lady amongst us who I later learnt was Miss Diezani Agama.”

He said some weeks later, church members decided to inspect a site at the Parkview Estate, Ikoyi for possible location of the church’s permanent site

Madueke added, “We drove in a convoy after church service for the inspection. It turned out I was inspecting much more than a church site! Diezani was in the employ of Shell Production and Development Company. She held down the portfolio of Head of Corporate Issues.

“She was the second daughter of Chief Frederic and Mrs Beatrice Agama who lived in Port Harcourt, the third born in a family of six children. She was 39, I was 55. She was elegantly dressed and had a dignified comportment.

“She looked right in my mind; she met my mental picture of a wife. My appraisal was later confirmed by some close friends who knew her. I believed God had finally set me on the right bearing and what remained was mine to accomplish.

“After that meeting, we exchanged numbers. Eventually, I asked her out to dinner. This took place on April 10, 1999 at the Shadow Lane, a restaurant on Victoria Island, Lagos. I bought dinner and she gave me a birthday present of an audio Bible in cassettes. She was aware I had celebrated my birthday.”

The retired naval officer said he gradually began to sell the idea of marriage to Diezani and explained to her that he had five children and was a widower who was dealing with bereavement.

He said Diezani was very open and told him how important it was for him to remarry on time so that the children would get used to having a new woman in the house.

The former CNS said he and Diezani got closer and he began to tell his confidants about the idea of marrying her.

Madueke said he also informed his two oldest children who were rounding off their university education and they also gave their blessings.

He added, “Having concluded my consultation with my parents-in-law, I returned to Lagos and invited Diezani for a chat. It was at this meeting that I proposed marriage to her. I told her that I had spoken to everyone that I should discuss the matter with and all of them fully supported the idea.

“She said yes to my proposal and we started making arrangements about formalising our relationship which included seeing our parents. On June 30, 1999, we had a civil wedding at my house in Lekki, Lagos; officials of the Ikoyi Marriage Registry were invited to perform the ceremony.”

The retired naval officer said at the end of the brief ceremony, they all went to La Scala Restaurant, Lagos, Muson Centre, for lunch and on July 23, the traditional wedding took place in Port Harcourt which had a much larger crowd.
