One of the best things in life is comfortable shoes. Shoes that fit perfectly, easy to put on and slip off of your feet. If you've ever had a poorly fitted pair, you'll get the gist.

•Never ever buy shoes that aren't your perfect size, regardless of how much you like them.

•If you must manage a shoe, ensure you wouldn't be wearing them all day. Simply wear them on days you won't be on your feet for long or just take an extra pair to change into when the pain sets in.

I was going to write a deep caption relating to the quote above but I couldn't bring myself to.

A part of me doesn't agree with it, I get what it's trying to say but I also think it's not totally up to us sometimes.

It's sometimes hard getting out of bed to a job you're tired of, a business that isn't paying the bills or a frustrating life but here you are, showing up despite the odds stacked up against you.

That in itself is an act of faith and I applaud your resilience. Remember, it gets better. Night never has the last word, it will be dawn soon enough.

I truly admire folks who do a lot with their style; all the blings, full on face beat, 6" stilettos, well put together etc. every time. Those people were born ready 😁 for paparazzi.

I'm personally too lazy to be all that even though I would love be a slay queen every minute of the day. I've chosen team laid back, chic and elegant- well, let's say I'm working on the elegant bit 😃.

I see this simplicity reflecting in my designs. Sometimes, I feel like it's not enough...like I need to push myself more, other times, I tell myself it's okay, that my ideal customers will see me. I do know I'm not wrong with any of these justifications, however, there needs to be a balance. I'm on a journey to finding that and all the extras in between.
