Someone dropped a message on my WhatsApp that she wanted to do a 3D polo and a throwpillow for her son and she was referred to me.
We got chatting and we concluded our transaction.
She gave me her son's birthday and that the job should be delivered on that day.
That was the last time I heard from her, I called but she didn't pick. I left messages for her but no response.
I didn't have delivery address, nothing just her phone number. I became worried cos the sample I sent to her, no response too.
I had to go ahead with the printing so I wouldn't disappoint her son.
The evening b4 the son's birthday, I finally received a call from her number. I had one million plus one things to say to her out of anger but all the anger in me melted when it wasn't her voice.
Good evening ma, 'I'm xyz husband and I'm aware that you are doing a job for my son. My wife passed away this morning 😳 but she promised our son that she will celebrate his 10th birthday for him so pls do deliver the job to xyz address, my son isn't aware that his mom has died so pls contact the cake lady and bring the stuff together, tell him mummy sent them to him , he's at my inlaws 😢 apparently she has been sick for some months. She contacted all the vendors from her sick bed.
I was Speechless for a long while and just said ok sir.
We delivered the job to him, he was super excited. He got all the goodies for his birthday. Everyone was faking smile and happiness there🥺
People are passing through a lot this period.
Some people can't express themselves properly, some don't have any trusted person around them.
Be patient with people don't feel high and mighty and think people don't have a life of their own. Everybody is going through alot this period.
The least you can do is to be nice to those around you.
Check on someone whom you haven't heard from, just a phone call could put smile on their faces..
