The term Ephemeralisation was used by R Buckminster fuller, meaning the ability or technical advancement to do more with less.....

There is a thing called operational ephemeralisation in business. It means the ability to utilise everything in the business (including what you may classify as waste) to the maximum possible profitable level..

In a company, ephemeralisation simply is discovering additional ways of generating income outside the original business which the company engage in, at no extra cost, utilising the same resources available to the company.....

For instance...

A fast food restaurant decided not to be wasting plastic pet bottles used by customers and other plastic containers rather they sale them back to companies that recycle them.
You will not believe that the income gotten from this simple act foots their monthly gas bills and staff welfare which stands at a staggering cost!!....

doing more with less!..

A construction company decided to also lease some of their construction equipments out at a fee per hour, instead of using those equipment only for their work, the amount realised from the lease almost stood at per with their net income for that business year, this did not only bring additional means of income to the company but opened another channel of business without any initial capital deposit...

doing more with less!!

A bakery also decided to buy flour in large quantities direct from the manufacturer, they do not only use the flour for their own bread production, but resale to other bakers around, the profit covers up to 35% of their entire cost of production thereby increasing their profit margin on the long run....

Do more with less!!....

Enterpreneurship is not for everybody, there are people who will do the conventional 9-5 jobs and be fulfilled!

Owning and running a business is not for the faint-hearted, it requires a certain standard of charisma. To be a successful businessman, you must imbibe certain qualities to your personality, if you do not inherently possess these qualities, you can learn them as you proceed in your enterpreneural journey.

Think and check out all the successful businesses in your location, the owner(s) have some or all the following characteristics:

Strength of character : this is value system such as integrity,accountability,humility, honesty, trustworthiness e.t.c

Emotional maturity: ability to rise up from failure and continue the process, the capacity to carry on despite all the NO! That have been thrown at him/her.

Hard/smart work: they hardly waste time on frivolities rather they are consistently working on thier businesses, even during weekends, they are workaholics!!

Social intelligence/ relationships : they are people smart, they know how to harmonize the different talents and skills of other people to achieve a definite goal.

Attention to detail: in thier businesses, they pay attention to every little detail of their businesses.

The best strategy to live and operate comfortably above poverty line in an ever increasing inflation rate is to create multiple means of income!

Take a look at this illustration, you a have bills such as:
(1)House rent
(2)Vehicle maintenance/operation
(3) Food
(4) Gas/fuel/energy
(5)Utility bills
(6)Medicals

Let's represent all these expenses with ratio 6...now you have only one channel of income catering for these 6 expenses, invariably it is ratio 6 over 1 (6/1)...mathematically it is an improper fraction!!🤷‍♂️
That is you have 6 heavy equipments suppressing only one power engine!.

You have to realise that your financial life will be a lot easier if you have multiple channels of income taking care of your multiple expenses.....if you imbibe this idea to your financial life..paying your bills and giving yourself a treat will not be headache to you again..

Diversify!!...create multiple channels of income. You should have atleast 3 channels l of income for a start.
