TIME TO REST Read Mk4:35-36 After work, your mom or dad may come home and say, 'i need some peace and quiet!' he or she is tired! Do you know that the Lord Jesus became tired too? Jesus had been teaching crowds of people by a big lake all day long. He must have been very tired!. What did He ask the disciples to do?..THINK ABOUT IT ..Why did Jesus want to leave the crowd behind? Jesus knew He and His disciples needed rest. Jesus needed time with God the Father too. He enjoyed spending time with the Father but He also shared His needs with Him. God the Father was Jesus refuge, His place of safety!. Ps46:1 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.'.If you are a child of God, it is a promise for you too. ''But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.'..Isa40:31...PRAY! Thank God that He is always ready to give you the help and strength you need.

WHY YOU NEED JESUS prt1

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."

Read Jn8:1-21

Those who are born of God do not commit sin because the seed of God is in them. The moment a person becomes born-again, sin becomes distasteful to such an individual. The moment a person comes in contact with Jesus; he becomes a new creature. There is no amount of morality and self-righteousness that can declare one a saint, this can be done only through the help of Jesus Christ, because until there is a shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. The primary reason why Jesus came to the earth is simply to deliver people from sin. The moment sin is removed, there will be a great relationship with God. It is sin that takes us far from God.
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and we see this in the life of the woman caught in the act of adultery. There was something Jesus saw that others didn't see. Jesus saw a sinner afflicted with the works of the devil. Jesus knew that the moment a woman like that comes to the knowledge of the Truth, she would be free from condemnation. Right there, the grace of God found her and she went and sinned no more. YOU TOO CAN SIN NO MORE IF ONLY YOU CAN COME IN CONTACT WITH JESUS NOW YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER REMAIN THE SAME.

The moment a person departs from the life of sin and turns to the path of holiness, he becomes a vessel unto the most High God. The life of such a person becomes honourable. There are many people who claim to be Christians today but are living in sin. A genuine Christian must keep sin at a distance, live a life of good works through Jesus Christ and be a vessel that is clean both within and without.

This is why you must come to Jesus, NO MATTER HOW TERRIBLE YOU FEEL YOU MIGHT HAVE FALLEN. YOU CANNOT FALL BELOW HIS GRACE.
"But God demonstrated his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Rom5:8

There is a sure reward for those who forsake the path of sin and choose the path of righteousness. Righteousness will exalt you, but sin will always bring reproach.

prov5:20: And why wilt thou my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?"

There are some people who never knew what sickness, failure, poverty or stagnation was until they committed fornication or adultery. Fornication and adultery is a sin that attracts the automatic wrath of God because it involves your Body, Soul and Spirit. Those who secretly engage in the sin of adultery end up being reduced to a piece of bread. Some think that as long their sins are not found out, they are safe. Ask King David, he will tell you that your sins will always find you out. Fornication and adultery will reduce you to a state of nothingness. Every precious thing in you will shut down permanently, the grace of God upon your life will be automatically removed and you will immediately become exposed to all forms of satanic attack. The cover of the Almighty God is removed and shame and reproach will become daily occurrence to such a person. It doesn't matter how long you may have spent in building your life, it begins to crash the moment you invite destruction.

A righteous person will be wise enough to avoid the dangers that come with the act of immorality. Joseph understood this and preferred that his garment be torn in the hands of Mrs portiphar than that his destiny and colourful future be destroyed by few minutes of pleasure. All those who giv excuses about the negative sides of their spouses as an excuse for sleeping around are only being FOOLISH. There is nothing outside that is not already given to you by God through your wife or husband. Don't allow your life to end in shame and disgrace, because that is always the end of those who continue in extra-marital affairs. Stay with the spouse that God has given you and receive your emotional nourishment that spouse. If you can't find contentment in your marriage, then you can be sure you will never really find it anywhere else.

The plan and purpose of God for marriage is- one man to one woman. There is no perfect man or woman anywhere, you have to work with wha/who you have, make lemonade out of your lemons.

You must stay far away from those people who can cause you to sin. This was the case with samson in the book of judges. Everywhere samson went, his focus was on women, and he lost his life and all he had through a woman. You have to examine yourself to find out if there is any possible channel through which you can become a victim of fornication or adultery. Disconnect yourself from that man or that woman wants to disconnect you from the place of grace. God is not just holy; He wants us to be partakers of His holiness. IT IS THE HOLINESS OF GOD THAT SECURES THE GRACE OF GOD IN OUR LIVES.

NOTE: A righteous man is identify by how much he loves righteousness and hates sin.

SUBDUING THE THREATENING GIANT...... 1sam 17:45-50

There is a threatening giant mightier than Goliath that we must overcome if our lives will be meaningful and highly fulfilling. This giant is no other one than the devil. As a matter of fact, Goliath in our bible reading for today was just an apprentice in the school of Satan. The bible says that the devil is a roaring lion walking about, seeking whom he may devour (1pt5:8). This was exactly what Goliath did, he roared at the children of Israel and they trembled b4 him.
'And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, why are ye come out to set your battle in array? Am not i a philistine, and ye servants of Saul? Choose you a man for you and let him come down to me. If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if i prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servant, and serve us'.. 1sam 17:8-9

How did the children of Israel overcome the threatening giant of their lives? They overcame him through their representative, the young David, who knew the God that he served. The giant cursing David by the name of his gods and David returned the curses by giving a deadly prophecy against the uncircumcised philistine in the name of his own God:

"This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and i will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and i will give the carcases of the host of the philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.".. 1sam17:46.

One lesson we learn from this story is that battles of life are beyond the physical. Even the giant did not rely on his strength alone; hence the reason he cursed David by his gods! David was up to the task so he replied not in the way but in a greater dimension!

This is equally why we must put on the whole armour of God to be able to withstand the giants of our life, particularly in our Christian lives. Another lesson is that, since our weapons are not carnal, we must not attempt to fight against the giant with our senses or physical weapons. When king Saul gave physical weapons to David, he rejected them bcos he knew they would fail. He confidently challenged Goliath with his God. I encourage you to take hold of the Name of the Lord in your battle against the giants in your life and you will subdue them all. However, you must have a cordial relationship with the bearer of the Name through holiness and perfect obedience to His Word. God bless you...

I want to share this to us, by his grace it has kept me in light front. It helped me in ministry, life, marriage, biz and career. God used them to solve problems and challenges i passed through. I almost given up until i came across this scriptures and i was blessed and life and ministry never remain dsame. And am trusting God that He will do same to you.

4 FACTORS THAT CAN KEEP YOU DOWN IN LIFE AND WAY OUT. Read Nubs13:1-33, Rom8:35-39. I want to start on this note that their is power in spoken word. Utterance is key in life either to make you or mar you.Nubs14:28 "say unto them as truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will i do to you". My speeches in life changed!.. I also came across in search of positive impart,this scripture-- phipp4:13 " i can do all things through Christ which strengthens me". I came to know i am unstoppable!!... Read this Jere1:11-12 "Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying Jeremiah, what seest thou? And i said, i see a rod of an almond tree. 12 Then said the LORD unto me, thou hast well seen: for i will hasten my word to perform it". Listen child of God until you beging to see and profess positively, you can not overcome and achieve in life.

Text Nubs13:1-33 (4 factors)
1) ACCEPTING DEFEAT EVEN B4 EMBARKING ON ANYTHING IN LIFE. Nub13:31,Rom8:37. Accepting defeat is being a failure. Winners never ever accept defeat.
2) NEGATIVE MIND SET. Nub13:32, phipp4:8, Gen2:19. Prov4:23. Thoughts are key to success or failure in life. Positive thoughts lead to success while negative thoughts lead to failures.
3) SEEING THE IMPOSSIBLE IN LIFE CHALLENGES. Nub13:32, mk9;23, Gen11:3-6. Weakness is associated with impossibility,the out come is failure. God sees possibilities!
4) LOOKING DOWN ON YOURSELF. Nub13:33, Lk19:1-6. Not believing on yourself, inferiority complex, writing yourself off. This is d most dangerous part any one can trade. When you failed to recognise who you are in life in God,you can not make anything meaningful. I call it "height of self-deceit" discover yourself.

WAY OUT:
1) YOU MUST BELIEVE ON YOURSELF AND RELY ABSOLUTELY ON GOD. 1jn5:4 "for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world........" Heb11:6.
2) FAITH-- Trusting and holding unto the ability of God. See things the way God sees. Faith brings us in the place of God. Faith put the devil to flight. Heb11:1, Eph6:16, Rom10:17,Rom4:16-21.
3) POSITIVE CONFESSIONS. Always talk positive. Associate with positive talkers. Keep saying it don't stop saying it, soon it will fall in pleasant place for you. Nub13:30,Nub14:28, Rev12:11.
4) CONVERT IT INTO ACTION. Faith without work is dead!.. Until you apply force, change will not come. Jam1:22-23,Jam2:16-20,1sam30:8,17-19. Pls dnt look back, you can yes it is possible you will overcome, child of God you have a purpose,dnt end that way. The first step you need to do is to accept Jesus in your life that settles it!..Jn3:16, Jn1:12. NOTE:TO BE BOLD IS TO TAKE THE BULL BY THE HORN.. God bless you

NOT A VIRTU!!....

Foolishness is not a virtue, rather it is a vice that costs its victim eternity in hell fire. See what the bible says "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.".prov9:10. In other words, lack of fear of God is the beginning of foolishness!. When you are living a life of "i don care" without considering the word of God, mind you that the life you are enjoying now is a borrowed life. The Owner may ask for it anytime.

Luk12:19-20 says "And i will say to my soul, Soul thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat drink and be merry. But God said unto him, thou fool this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?"

some people who claim to be children of God behave foolishly sometimes. Read prov26:11 "S a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly." it is very dangerous for you child of God to go back to the world, the act is foolishness!!.. Never try it..Lk11:24-26.

Read 2pt2:20 "For if after they escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning."... You need to change for good, never turn your back at God. Come back Jesus loves you. He died for you, you were created to serve Him. Your life is precious to God. "As many that receive Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God"..Jn1:12
