It has a hole which we most often think is there for fancy but it performs a very important role I.e to provide the he pin enough spring tension for closing and open securely ๐ŸŽฏ๐ŸŽฏ๐ŸŽฏ

And also serves as a convenient stop for ribbons, chains, or any craft material used in a DIY!!!๐Ÿช„๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€

So without that spring part a safety pin cannot exist, same way an egg roll seizes to be one with an egg๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๏ผ

Especially Fashion designers/ dress makers who take out an enormous time out of theirs to ensure someone has their dream look, and trust me sometimes itโ€™s not about the money for most of us itโ€™s the fulfilment!!!
