So apparently, there’s this woman who had been seeing this guy for almost a year.
And from what her friends were saying?
This man was giving her just enough to keep her around.
One week, he was obsessed with her.
Calling every night.
Sending sweet messages.
Making plans.
Talking about how different she was.
Then suddenly?
Silence.
Two days.
Sometimes three.
No calls.
Barely a text.
Then just when she started getting angry, this man would magically reappear.
"I've been busy. You know how my work is."
And she would forgive him.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Her friends were tired.
One of them told her:
"This man is not confused. He's comfortable."
But she wasn't hearing it.
Because according to her, he was actually a really good man.
"He has a good heart."
"He's just not good at communicating."
"He's been through a lot."
"He really does love me."
"He just needs time."
Then something happened.
She told him she wanted a serious relationship.
He said he wasn't ready.
She asked how long he needed.
He said:
"I don't know. Let's just enjoy what we have."
Now here's where the gist gets interesting.
She agreed!
Then spent the next several months hoping he'd change his mind.
And whenever she started pulling away, he'd give her just enough to pull her back in.
A romantic date.
A deep conversation.
A few promises.
Then back to the same behaviour.
Her friends stopped asking her when she was going to leave because they realised she wasn't waiting for him to change.
She was waiting for the version of him she had created in her head to become real.
Then one evening, he cancelled plans again.
She didn't argue.
Didn't call.
Didn't send a paragraph.
She just sat there looking at her phone.
And apparently she asked herself one question:
"If this man never changes, would I still choose him?"
Her answer?
No.
And that's when she realised something uncomfortable.
She had spent almost a year asking:
"Why doesn't he choose me?"
When she should have been asking:
"Why am I choosing him?"
Now here's the part nobody expected.
She didn't suddenly decide that all men were terrible.
She didn't start posting about narcissists.
She didn't make a video exposing him.
She started looking at her own dating pattern.
Why was inconsistency so attractive to her?
Why did she keep mistaking chemistry for compatibility?
Why did potential make her overlook what was actually happening?
Why did she keep investing before she had enough evidence?
And that's what led her to take the Partner Selection Scorecard.
25 questions.
One simple score.
Five dating patterns.
Not to tell her which man to date.
But to help her understand how she was choosing.
Because sometimes the biggest dating question isn't:
"What's wrong with him?"
It's:
"Why did I keep choosing this?"
And honestly...
That's a question a lot of women should ask themselves before the next man comes along.
