Meet Wuraola Mogaji

WuraOla is a graduate of Industrial Chemistry from Onabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun state, who decided to join us for our 3 months intensive shoemaking training to refine her shoemaking skill which she learnt during her Nysc Saed program in 2023.

On 3rd of March 2025 , Wuraola came down to Abeokuta all the way from Ikorodu, Lagos state to commence her training along side with other students of the 2025 first cohort. It was a moment of doubt when she called in and said she’s now in Abeokuta, what an incredible sacrifice for growth.

We received her with all sense of welcoming and we promised to make her experience worthwhile throughout her stay in Abeokuta.

Over her 3 months stay with us, it has been an amazing experience for her and we can’t commend her enough for her resilience, focus and determination.

Wuraola has learned so far beyond Gum and Leather and we are proud to have her as one of our participants for 2025 first Cohort. She had spent a whopping 4 months with us learning the art of shoemaking with open minded and focus and we are so much delighted about her progress and successes so far. Her intentionality to earn a skill with her degree is second to none.

She has worked on different projects which cut across Slides,Sandals,Loafers , Derby amidst others and her excellent performance was as a result of her undivided attention and dedication towards growth.

WuraOla has shown a great sense of humility as her level of humbleness needs to be studied, due to her dedication and level of human relations, WuraOla has now been equipped well who now owns a registered brand with the CAC known as G-29 Footies. We couldn’t be more excited.

You see, growth comes with some certain level of commitment and sacrifice, leaving her comfort zone is one of the sacrifices she made for growth and if many youths outside today can do the same, we would have less unemployed graduates in the country.

This is another call to action for those who has been giving the excuse of Location Barrier as limitation for improvement and growth, if you seriously want it enough, you will go any miles to make it a success.

We say, Congratulations to Wuraola on this feat and we definitely look forward to her exploit in this field and beyond.

Just like our slogan remains, growth is a gradual process.

So far, it has been a great privilege contributing to the growth of many through our Shoemaking training, all things being equal, enrolment for our last cohort in 2025 would be out soon. Wish to enrol or have someone who need this? Get them updated.
