This morning, I was reading the Book of Ruth again… and I’m seeing it differently.

Ruth was not just a woman in a story she was a vessel, a decision-maker, someone whose choices carried eternal weight. And the more I read, the more I realized… this story is deeper than we think.

In Ruth 1, two people had the same opportunity—Orpah and Ruth. Both experienced loss. Both stood at a turning point. Orpah went back… but Ruth stayed.

That moment is so real.

Because even today, many people start the journey, but not everyone continues. Some turn back when it gets hard. Some walk away when it stops being convenient.

But Ruth said something that still echoes in my spirit:
“Your people shall be my people, and your God my God” (Ruth 1:16).

She wasn’t just following Naomi… she was choosing God.

And I feel this strongly this is a call to anyone who has gone far from God, anyone who feels disconnected, anyone who feels like going back… Christ is still waiting for you.

The same way Ruth turned and aligned herself to the true God, you too can return. The door is still open. The cross is still speaking. Salvation is still available. (John 3:16)

Ruth didn’t have a perfect past. She was a Moabite, an outsider… yet God accepted her, rewrote her story, and gave her a place in the lineage of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:5).

That means no one is too far gone.

Then I saw something else mentorship.

Naomi was not just her mother-in-law. Naomi was her covering, her mentor, her spiritual guide. Even when Naomi had nothing, Ruth stayed. Even when the future was unclear, Ruth remained connected.

In a time where people easily disconnect from their pastors, their spiritual leaders, their place of growth… Ruth stayed.

And because she stayed, she was positioned.

Ruth 2 shows her in the field serving, humble, unnoticed. But God saw her. And God connected her to Boaz. Not by struggle, but by alignment.

Ruth 3 shows obedience. She listened to instruction. She didn’t act on impulse. She moved with wisdom and honor. There is something powerful about staying under godly counsel (Hebrews 13:17).

And Ruth 4… God finished it beautifully.

From emptiness to fullness.
From outsider to accepted.
From brokenness to purpose.

And this is what is touching me deeply:
Ruth didn’t chase anything she chose God, she stayed planted, she followed divine guidance… and God gave her a future she could never have imagined.

So this is not just a story.
This is an invitation.

An invitation to stay with God.
An invitation to return to Christ if you have drifted.
An invitation to remain under the right mentorship.
An invitation to trust God even when life is unclear.

If you are reading this and you feel far from God… come back.
If you are tired, confused, or discouraged… stay.
If you are under a covering God placed you in… don’t disconnect.

Because God is still writing stories like Ruth’s.

And the truth is—He is not looking for perfect people.
He is looking for hearts that will say yes, stay committed, and follow Him fully.

Maybe your own story is about to change… the moment you turn back to Him.

Oh, yesterday in Pastor’s School, when our lecturer was teaching us on Bible characters, and one of the characters was the old prophet and the man of God… the way she explained it, something just dropped in my spirit. I loved it so much because it was deep, real, and very powerful.

God gave the young man of God a clear instruction: do not eat, do not drink, and do not return the same way. It was direct. It was personal. It was not confusing.

And he obeyed… until another prophet showed up.

Not his pastor. Not the one God sent him to. Just a prophet who came with another “word” and said an angel spoke to him. But it was a lie.

And this is where it becomes very deep…

The young prophet left what God told him because of another voice that sounded spiritual.

This is not just a story this is a serious matter of consecration.

When God gives you an instruction, stay with it. It is not every voice that carries God. It is not every “man of God” that is speaking for God in that moment. God is not an author of confusion, so He will not tell you something and then send another person to contradict it.

This generation needs to be careful.

Because you can hear God clearly and still fall… if you don’t stay with what He said.

The young prophet was accurate. He was bold. He delivered. But he broke consecration… and that was where everything went wrong.

Honestly, this has been speaking to me personally.

To guard what God tells me.
To not be moved by titles or appearances. Which I don't even listen to any pastor apart from mine.
To stay rooted in divine instruction no matter who speaks.

Please, take your time and go and read this story in 1 Kings chapter 13 the story of the old prophet and the man of God. There is so much in it that you cannot afford to miss.

It was so powerful that I found myself pondering on it… meditating on it… asking myself deep questions.

Guys, you won’t believe what happened in my branch church today.
I was preaching on the topic: 'Proof that You Are Not Born Again.'

And I was pouring out my heart, giving them the truth as the Spirit led me. Not sugarcoating anything. Because light must enter where there has been darkness.

As I was preaching, I asked one young man a simple question. I said, “How many songs do you have on your phone?” he said about 150. Then I asked, “How many are gospel?” He said 15. I didn’t even go deep into that, I just used it to open their eyes.

Then I said something very direct:
“How can you say you are born again and you are comfortable living in sin? Comfortable with sexual immorality, relationships that dishonor God, things that don’t reflect Christ?”

I told them plainly: if you see yourself in these things and you are still comfortable, then you are not born again.

And right there, in the middle of the message… something shocking happened.

One guy stood up, ran, jumped through the window, jumped the fence, and left.
I was shocked.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Am like ewo🙆🙆🙆🙆
But immediately, the Spirit of God reminded me: light has come, and darkness cannot stay.
I told them, “The proof that you are not born again is that you will not be comfortable with the light.” When truth comes and you feel irritated, bored, or offended, check your life. Because a truly born-again person loves truth, even when it corrects them.
I referenced John 3 :19 people avoid the light because they don’t want their evil deeds exposed.
And I made it clear: I am not here to entertain. I am not here to make you shout empty hallelujahs. I am here to preach the truth that leads to salvation.
But let me tell you the beautiful part…
Many people were deeply touched.
Many were happy.
Lives were changed.

One young man met one of my pastors and said he had discovered his purpose.
Souls were saved.
Hearts were awakened.
This is why I cannot stop.
Yes, it is stressful.
Yes, it is demanding.
But I will not give up.

This is my assignment — to reconcile men back to Christ. I am not here to preach prosperity, or to make people feel good, but to bring them to the Cross.

Because the truth is: many people don’t hate God… they just don’t want to leave their sin.
But we will keep preaching.
We will keep shining the light.
We will keep standing for the truth.

And today, I am grateful to God.
Grateful for every soul that came.
Grateful for every life that was touched.
And I know… many more are coming.

Salvation will spread in this ministry.
Lives will be transformed.
Jes will be glorified.
I will not stop.
I will not go back.
Kingdom work continues. 🔥

There is something powerful in the story of Deborah in Judges that we must not miss.

Israel was in bo***ge. For years, they cried, but nothing changed. Strong men were present, yet no one rose. Voices were many, but direction was absent.

Then God found a vessel.

Not because she was the most expected.
Not because she fit the system.
But because she was available.

And God used her.

This is the revelation:

God does not check your gender.
God does not check your title.
God does not check your status.

God checks your availability.

Deborah became a voice in her generation because she was yielded. She carried God, so a nation could come to her and find direction. She spoke, and heaven backed her. She moved, and a generation shifted.

That means one thing—God can use anybody.

As long as there is a “yes” in your spirit, you qualify.

Your generation is not looking for perfection.
Your generation is crying for a vessel.

And many times, we disqualify ourselves—
“I am not ready…”
“I am not perfect…”
“I am not this or that…”

But God is not looking for perfection.
He is looking for surrender.

Because when a vessel is yielded, God supplies the power.

Deborah did not just rise for herself—she rose for a generation that had lost its voice.

And I believe this strongly:

In every generation, there is a cry.
And in every generation, God is looking for a vessel to answer that cry.

The question is not “Can God use me?”
The real question is “Am I available?”

Because the same God who used Deborah is still searching.

Searching for hearts that will say yes.
Searching for lives that will be yielded.
Searching for vessels He can pour Himself into.

Pray this prayer with me
Lord, let me not miss my moment.
Let me not be too full of myself to be used by You.
Empty me of everything that resists You, and fill me until my life becomes an answer.

If you can use Deborah, you can use me.
If you can use one vessel to change a nation, you can use my life to touch my generation.

I am available.
I am willing.
I am your vessel.

As I was reading the story of Samson and Delilah in the book of Judges, something really gripped my heart. This is not just a story of a strong man who fell in love with the wrong woman. This is a deep warning to every believer who is gradually drifting away from God while still looking like everything is fine on the outside.

Before Samson was born, God already gave an instruction concerning his life. He was set apart. He was not ordinary. There was a covenant on his head. His strength was not just power—it was the evidence of his consecration. But somewhere along the line, Samson began to take that instruction lightly. He started going to places he was not meant to go, keeping company he was not meant to keep, and entertaining desires that were slowly killing his spiritual sensitivity.

And that is where it becomes very dangerous for us as believers.

Because many times, we think the fall is sudden—but it is not. It is a gradual process. It starts when you begin to ignore the little convictions. When God tells you “no,” and you keep negotiating. When you start feeling comfortable in places that once made you uncomfortable. That is how consecration is lost.

Samson saw the signs. Delilah kept asking him for the secret of his strength, and every time he spoke, danger followed. Yet he stayed. That means it was not that he did not know—it was that he refused to walk away. And that is the state of many believers today. You know that relationship is not right. You know that habit is not pure. You know that lifestyle is not pleasing to God. Yet you remain there, hoping nothing will happen.

But sin does not announce its full consequence at the beginning. It will first make you feel safe… then slowly strip you of your strength.

The most painful part of Samson’s story is not even Delilah’s betrayal. It is the moment the Bible says, “He did not know that the Lord had left him.” That is a terrifying place to be—where a person is still moving, still talking, still doing ministry, but the presence of God is no longer there.

That is why this message is a warning.

If you are a believer living in sin, this is not something to take lightly. You may still feel strong now. You may still feel like nothing has changed. But if you continue to ignore God’s instruction, there will come a time when what made you strong will no longer be there—and you may not even realize when it happens.

Samson lost his strength, his vision, and his freedom. Sin will do the same. It blinds you first, then it binds you.

But even in that, I see the mercy of God. When Samson cried out again, God heard him. That means no matter how far someone has gone, there is still room for repentance. There is still room to return. But wisdom says we should not wait until we are broken before we come back to God.

This is why I am writing this.

Guard your life. Guard your heart. Guard your consecration.

Do not keep entertaining what God is asking you to leave. Do not normalize what is slowly destroying you. Do not trade your destiny for temporary pleasure.

You are not ordinary. There is something God has placed on your life, and it must be protected.

If Samson had just obeyed from the beginning, his story would have been different.

Let this be a call back to God. Let this be a moment of reflection. Let this be a turning point.

Because the truth is simplewhat you refuse to walk away from today may take your strength tomorrow.

I was reading the story of Jephthah in Judges 11, and honestly, my heart has not been at rest since then. I keep going back to it, and every time I read it, I don’t just see a Bible story I feel something heavy inside me.

Because I don’t understand… why would a man make that kind of vow?

He said to God that if He gives him victory, whatever comes out of his house first, he will sacrifice it. And I keep thinking what was he expecting? Did he think it would be an animal? A servant? Something insignificant? Did he never imagine that it could be his own child… his only daughter?

And then God gave him victory.

That’s the part that confuses me even more. God helped him win, but said nothing about the vow. God didn’t stop him. God didn’t interrupt him. God didn’t warn him.

And I keep asking God, why were You silent?

Because when his daughter came out… that was it. No reversal. No intervention. Just silence.

And the daughter… that part breaks me the most. She didn’t resist. She didn’t question. She only asked for time to mourn the life she would never live. A future cut short, not because of her own decision, but because of a vow she didn’t make.

Sometimes I just sit with this and feel bad for both of them. A father who spoke without fully understanding, and a daughter who paid the price for words she didn’t say.

But as I kept thinking and praying about it, something deeper began to open up to me.

I started to realize that the silence of God in that moment was not approval… it was revelation.

Revelation that God will not always interrupt the consequences of what we say.

Because one of the greatest gifts God has given us is the power of choice—and that includes our words. And sometimes, what we call “God, why didn’t You stop it?”… God calls “I gave you wisdom, but you didn’t use it.”

Jephthah didn’t make that vow because God required it. He made it because he did not fully understand the God he was speaking to.

He approached God like someone who needed to be bargained with. Like victory had to be exchanged for sacrifice. Like God was waiting to collect something from him.

But that is not who God is.

And that’s where it hit me deeply this was not really a story about sacrifice. It was a story about misunderstanding God.

Because when you don’t know God deeply, you can become sincere… and still be wrong.

You can love God… and still misrepresent Him.

You can even be used by God… and still carry wrong beliefs about Him.

Jephthah won the battle, but he lost something more important—his future. His daughter was not just a child; she was his legacy, his continuation. And in one moment of emotional speaking, he unknowingly placed his future on the altar.

And I began to ask myself… how many times have I said things I didn’t fully understand? How many promises have I made to God out of pressure, fear, or desperation?

Because the truth is, words are not just words in the spirit. Words can become agreements. Words can become altars. Words can shape outcomes.

And God does not always cancel what we create with our mouths.

That realization humbled me.

It made me see that as believers, it is not enough to be passionate—we must know God correctly. Because wrong knowledge can lead to costly expressions.

And then I saw something else…

God would never require what He Himself condemns. Throughout Scripture, God speaks against human sacrifice. So this act was never God’s desire.

Which means this pain… did not come from God’s demand, but from man’s misunderstanding.

And that answered something in my heart God was not silent because He approved. He was silent because He had already spoken in His word, but Jephthah didn’t align with it.

That is deep.

Because sometimes we are waiting for God to speak again, when He has already spoken before.

So now, when I think about this story, I don’t just feel sad anymore. I feel awakened.

It reminds me to be careful with my words.
To know God beyond assumptions.
To not serve Him based on fear or negotiation.
To understand that not every sacrifice is obedience.

And one thought keeps ringing in my heart:

Jephthah did not lose his daughter because God demanded it… he lost her because he did not truly know the God he made a vow to.

That alone is enough to make me seek God deeper—not just emotionally, but truthfully.

Today is a beautiful day in my life.

A day that reminds me that purpose is real… and when God calls, He also gives grace to fulfill the call.

Today, I stand grateful to God Almighty for the privilege to serve as the Lead Pastor of the Kingdom Light ministries - Atiku Branch. This is not just a position it is a divine assignment. I have discovered purpose, and by His mercy, I am walking in it already.

My heart overflows with thanksgiving because God did not leave me alone on this journey. He gave me a husband who believed in me, who supported me, pushed me forward, and strengthened my hands to fulfill destiny. I honor God for such a gift.

I thank God for my pastors who worked alongside me faithful hearts, willing vessels, partners in the kingdom. This opportunity has not passed me by, and His grace has not forsaken me.

Today, my joy is simple:

This is my calling.
This is my purpose.

All glory belongs to Jesus.

🔥 I AM A BURNING AND SHINING LIGHT

I was not born to disappear in darkness.
I was sent to shine.

The Scripture says,
"He was a burning and a shining light" John 5:35.
Not just shining… but burning first.

Because before a light shines publicly,
it must burn privately.

I burn in prayer.
I burn in surrender.
I burn in the presence of God
until my life becomes proof that Jesus is alive.

For it is written,
"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." Matthew 5:14.

I refuse to hide what heaven has lit.
I refuse to dim my fire to please darkness.

When I walk in rooms, hope rises.
When I speak, faith awakens.
When I stand, light confronts darkness.

Not by power, not by fame,
but by the Spirit of the Living God.

I carry a fire that circumstances cannot quench.
A light that fear cannot silence.
A purpose eternity designed.

For the same God who said,
"Let there be light" Genesis 1:3,
has spoken light into me.

So I arise.
I burn with devotion.
I shine with purpose.
I live as evidence of Christ.

I am not ordinary.
I am not hidden.
I am not extinguished.

🔥 I WILL MAKE DISCIPLES FOR JESUS 🔥

I will not be silent.
I will not stay in one place.
I will not hide the light God has placed inside of me.

My life has a purpose and that purpose is Christ.

I have been called, chosen, and sent to reconcile men back to God. This is not just a passion; this is my assignment. This is my life’s mission.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel…”

I carry His message.
I carry His love.
I carry His power.

Everywhere I go, I will speak about Jesus.
Everywhere I stand, I will represent His kingdom.
Every soul matters, and I refuse to watch people walk in darkness when I carry the light of Christ.

I will go into cities.
I will go into nations.
I will go wherever He sends me.

I WILL MAKE DISCIPLES FOR JESUS.

This is my calling.
This is my identity.
This is my obedience.

And through my life, many will come to know Him, grow in Him, and follow Him.
