LESSONS I LEARNT FROM HILDA BACI’s Online class with over 5400 participants 😮
Few days to the class, I was super excited and was anticipating that the class should start. I was so eager to start because of the detailed course outline flyer. However I learnt more than just recipes. I got value for what I paid for. Here are some of the many things i learnt 👇🏾
ADVERTISEMENT : Some of you have blocked your friends, family members and even your partners just because they didn’t repost your flyers and posts for others to see😄
Yes, I know how it feels. Why are you angry at them when you can market your brand to the world? Who doesn’t want to be associated with a successful brand and person? When you carry your business as if your whole life depends on it and you make adverts on various social media platforms… then you start making sales. You won’t even know who is helping you to repost or not💯
Hilda Baci despite being a world record breaker markets her brand ‘shamelessly’ and runs multiple ads to get the right audience to register for her classes.
People joined from different parts of the world 🌎 Do not underestimate the power of running ads on social media.
TEAM WORK: I thought since she was the class organizer, she would do everything on the course outline all by herself. I was wrong! Chef Hilda Baci worked with facilitators (tutors) who are expertise in their field to train us on some topics.
The mistake most of us do is that we are not ready to work with others. Remember, the better the people on the team, the greater the potential.
COURTESY: Irrespective of who you are, Chef Hilda believes everyone should be shown respect. This energy was passed down to the participants as well.
We were grouped into different interactive classes whereby our questions and suggestions were attended to. Yes, we were over 5400 participants and yet she took her time to answer our questions.
VALUE BASED PRICING: Most people believed the class was too expensive for N35,000 but with all sincerity the class worths it. Did she charge based on her value, popularity, experience, quality of her work and self worth? Yes, she did.
She has taken her time to put herself out there and put extra effort on her Personal Relations (PR) and run Ads for her brand. Chef Hilda poured herself out and delivered more than she promised! “Providing value and changing lives one recipe at a time.”- Hilda Baci
DON’T BE LAZY: How many people can 1 bag of rice feed? How many yard will be enough to make this style? My love, carry your pen, jotter and calculator and do the homework yourself! It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and consistency to be successful. Don’t sit down and keep waiting for ‘manna’ to fall from heaven.
PRIZE GIVING: People joined the class for different reasons. I joined because of my love for food also to upgrade my culinary skills 🥰. However, some others joined because they want to compete and win a prize for themselves. Gifts ranges from cocktail set to a brand new car 🚘 … These gave room for competition and made most students to be more attentive and paid closer attention to every detail of what we were taught.
PRAYER: Chef Hilda encouraged us to put God first in all we do. Her intermittent prayers for her students blew my mind.
TROLLS AND CRITICS: In as much as you put yourself out there on social media, you should know there will be days of positive and negative critics. In fact, some people are gladly waiting for you to make mistakes. Prepare ahead for those days and learn to handle negative criticism.
Do you know how many times she has been trolled on social media? Do you know how many times people have condemned her cooking methods?
Did she stop marketing her brand? Did that stop her from putting herself out there?…
UPGRADING: What ever business you’re into, you should know that you need to upgrade yourself constantly so as not to be left behind. As you’re upgrading, keep teaching people the knowledge you’ve acquired so that the knowledge won’t die with you!
In conclusion, Chef Hilda Baci is very smart and intelligent. She believes you have to be intentional about your brand because your passion, talent and skills is not enough to make you successful…
