Naija MetroFest is an outdoor family oriented 3 day cultural extravaganza that would be held over a weekend October 14-16 in Lagos, Nigeria. It will consist of an exhibition of arts, culture, businesses as well as food, fashion, music, dance, kids’ playground and educational activities/demonstrations.
This is an opportunity for artists to get valuable experience and feedback in terms of seeing how others react to their art, while also maximizing the number of people who'll have opportunities to see it.
This festival will enable more artists to be recognized for their skills, talents, personalities and art while exposing them to galleries, museums, institutions, critics, curators, corporate collectors and the higher echelons of the art world in Lagos and from around the world.
A variety of media will be accepted including ceramics, leather, sculpture, clothing, photography, glass, metal, jewellery, wood, drawings/paintings and works of mixed media. A handful of food and drinks exhibitors will also be accepted.
