MY SOJOURN AS VICE CHAIRMAN OF IDAH LOCAL GOVERNMENT
- By Hon. Zuweriat Aminu Idowu.

This is my story of three years as Vice Chairman of the ancient town of Igala Kingdom, Idah Local Government.
It was a reign of God's faithfulness, at first I never see the possibility of triumphing but the spirit of optimism bolster my courage of surpassing all obstacles, indeed it was a journey of many challenges but regardless here I am today singing praises to the Lord Almighty.
My story is just an appreciation of God's wonders throughout my days in office.
I could vividly remembered how warmly the good people of Idah Local Government welcomed me upon my nomination to deputize the chairman, I was welcomed, celebrated and prayed for, I feel so good and encouraged to work selflessly with my boss to achieving our goal and to the glory of God, it wasn't easy but we tried our very best.
It is on this note I want to thank my principal, Hon. Alh. Abuh Odoma for standing by me when many persons were against me, even when you were advised not to endorse my nomination as your running mate, you stand by me, you believed in me and you trusted me. Thank you Alhaji as I fondly call you, only God can bless you. Thank you.
To all the good people of Idah Local Government, thank you for giving us the privilege to have served you to the best of our ability.
I can beat my chest that our administration prioritized the security of lives and properties of our people and making the environment conducive for aliens and indigenes to trade peacefully, even as we were faced with lots of difficulties, we were never for once deter on delivering our campaign promises.
Whatever we achieve today was not in isolation, it was on a team work and unrelenting support from the good people of Idah Local Government.
Of course I won't forget to appreciate largely, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello whom has in his unequivocal love for women giving us the platform to explore. Thank you your Excellency, I am grateful.
Conclusively, I know that during the course of discharging my duty as Vice Chairman, I might have stepped on toes as people also stepped on mine but from my end, I have let go and I want to equally plead that whoever feels offended should please forgive me as none was intentional. I look forward to your forgiveness.
As I bow in honor out of office today, I pray for prosperous and greater Idah local government.

Thank you the good people of Idah Local Government
Thank you the good people of Kogi State
Thank you and God bless the federal republic of Nigeria!

A NO TODAY IS A YES IN A TIMELINE.
In 2011, Hon. Zuweriat Idowu contested to represent the good people of Igecheba Ward at the Idah local government legislative council, although she was robbed off her mandate, she was sad not knowing that, it wasn't the appointed time, in fact. God declined because of the bigger task he planned in her life.
During the 2015 Kogi State Gubernatorial election, she equally contributed immensely to the victory of Late Prince Abubakar Audu, but God said it wasn't time, Audu died an all the struggle was uncompensated for good solid 5years, not until God said it is time in 2020.
Today, she is the incumbent Vice Chairman of the oldest local government in Kogi State, Idah of Igala Kingdom.
It will interest you to know that consistency, resiliency and persistency is the secret behind her success.

This Guy is a diehard member of the dilapidating People's Democratic Party from Idah local government, a very popular one at that, he is small in size but mighty in analysis, but the mystical truth of his person is, he is very good at analysing the political affair of the sister's party, the All Progressive Congress(APC) living out his own party. I must confess this guy is really becoming more APC than her members.
Anyways I am not here to officially advise you to decamp but to wish you a progressive Birthday Celebration.

THE UNTOLD TRUTH ABOUT MURITALA AJAKA AND EDWARD ONOJA
-BY OBAJE YUSUF..

The untold and unavoidable Truth about this two individuals is "When two Brothers Fight to Death, a Stranger inherits their Heritage.
My instincts has directly directed me to pen down this little piece of mine, in regards to the forthcoming Kogi gubernatorial election and the chances of Kogi East Muritala Ajaka and Edward Onoja.
Before I proceed, I would like to categorically stated that as of today, Muritala Ajaka and Edward Onoja remain the major contenders from Kogi East, vying for the position of the next Governor of Kogi State. I must quickly remind the general public that the duo are centre of excellence, prudence and holds magnitude of leadership capacity, I have no objection on their capability to deliver if their been bestowed with the mantle, they have both performed well in their various political spheres. No one Among them is a child in this game but the fact is, only one among them can go.
Now among the two giant and heavyweight contenders, who do you think would make a better representation as Governor, Muri or Edward? it is no doubt that this duo are well groomed and prepared to serve, regardless of their differs political blueprints and philosophies.
Now, let us shift a little to the Central part of Kogi, Abdulkareem Jamiu Muhammed Asuku is on top of the game, waxing stronger with his co-aspirants from there, and they will definitely come to a compromise before the primary election, Asuku is the man from the Kogi central senatorial district, a case study of the recent screening venue at Abuja, the set-up of aspirants from Kogi central has told the story of one united people. I hope you know what am saying?

Now the untold truth is, the possibility of one of our topnotch contenders from Kogi East to succeed is very low if we continued to trend in the part we are trading presently.
Neither Muri or Edward will get the ticket if they continued to fight each other.
It is quite funny that Muri and Edward has forgotten that their major bottleneck is the Kogi Central not their selves. Instead of the energy your media handlers are using to castigating, insulting and destroying your reputable reputations, join it to do the needful. No amount of insult or blackmails can stop the did date.
Dear Igala brethren, this is the right time to know who are the true lovers of Igala Kingdom, Late Stephen Achema did it for his brother to go, who can do it again AMOMAYE?

If we don't stop campaign of calumny among ourselves and unite against the forthcoming battle, We might not get it right.

My submission...
Obaje Yusuf.
