🌿 A visit to our suppliers in Sri Lanka

Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting our suppliers in Sri Lanka and getting a closer look at the cultivation and production of some of the plants.

During our visit, we saw a wide range of varietys, including Codiaeum mother plants, Philodendron, Dracaena sanderiana and Zamioculcas zamiifolia.

Take a look at some of the highlights from our visit!

With a broad international network of breeders and growers, consolidating tropical young plants has never been more efficient.

We specialize in the import and export of tropical young plants, collecting varieties from multiple suppliers and consolidating them into one carefully organized shipment, mainly by airfreight to destinations outside Europe. By combining volumes, we help our customers reduce logistics costs while maintaining quality and speed.

Our expertise goes beyond consolidation. Our specialists handle phytosanitary requirements, import permits, and country specific documentation to ensure smooth clearance and on time delivery.

We are not a grower, and that is precisely our strength. Our independent position allows us to select from a wide assortment and combine products from different breeders and growers into one optimized shipment tailored to your needs.

Looking for a reliable partner in international tropical young plant trade? We are ready to support you.

What makes import and export so interesting?

At Ornamentex, we specialize in the international import and export of young plant material. This field involves a wide range of regulations, phytosanitary requirements and country-specific specifications that must be carefully managed.

Our role is to navigate these complexities for you. We take care of all required procedures and special regulations. Ensuring that your plants depart and arrive smoothly, safely and fully compliant with international standards.

One of our key strengths is shipment consolidation. By combining orders from multiple producers into a single shipment, we optimize logistics and create a more efficient supply chain resulting in a better overall cost price for our customers.
