For example, screen printing is ideal for simple designs and large quantities, thanks to its high durability. Digital printing offers full-colour freedom and is perfect for small quantities or detailed designs. For round or tricky shapes, pad printing is a compact solution. And then there’s IML printing (In-Mould Labelling): a technique in which the design is integrated directly into the material during production. The result is a razor-sharp, full-wrap print that doesn’t wear off and is perfect for intensive use.

On the 6th of March, the Dutch House of Representatives passed a motion to abolish the planned €0.25 levy on single-use plastic. The measure, intended to combat plastic pollution, was set to take effect in 2026, but faced strong criticism: too burdensome for consumers, too little impact on littering.
But what if this isn’t a step back, but rather a step forward?

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤?
It’s simple. When a visitor buys a drink, the cup is placed on a scanning pad, and their credit or debit card is automatically linked to the RFID chip inside the cup.

Once they’re done enjoying their drink, they can easily drop the cup into one of the smart bins located around the venue. The bin automatically scans the RFID chip and refunds the deposit, no hassle.

This system guarantees a waste-free environment and ensures a seamless, enjoyable experience for every visitor. There are no queues to return the cups and no complications with getting the deposit back.
