Project Milestone | SHINE | 2026 | 39.9m

Earlier this month, Shine, formerly known as Project EVO, was launched at .shipyard in the Netherlands.

Projects like this come together through close collaboration between owner, shipyard, designers and engineers. Our team contributed to the project on structural engineering, integrating the exterior styling, interior layout and fast-displacement hull into a cohesive structure.

Great to see Shine touch the water and move into her next phase.

Steel hull. Aluminium superstructure

This is the moment both come together, completing the outer shell of the superyacht.

After carefully planning every detail of the transition from the earliest design stage, the connection is now made using a special material which allows the craftsmen to weld steel directly to aluminium.

This is the work before the work.

Sleek. Aggressive. And 21.7 knots to back it up.

Tansu Yachts designed and built her and gave her that unmistakable look. Built in wood and composite, her semi-displacement hull was engineered with a keen eye on weight reduction. She is powered by two CAT C32 engines.

Before the exterior or interior, the hull structure takes shape. Steel frames and welded connections, naval architecture engineering that determines how a superyacht moves through water and performs at sea.

You rarely see these details, but they shape everything else in yacht construction.

Construction is underway on Project Berlin, a 30-metre custom aluminium raised pilothouse yacht currently in build at .shipyard

Developed for experienced owners, the yacht is conceived as a true liveaboard platform. Exterior and interior design is by Guido de Groot Design.

As Naval Architects, Diana Yacht Design is responsible for the technical development and hull design. The hard-chine semi-displacement hull is designed to deliver a top speed of 24 knots, while a two-metre draft allows access to shallower anchorages.

Delivery is scheduled for summer 2027
