Weโre delighted to share some very exciting news with all our members โ Stranraer Golf Club has made a major investment in a VGR Topchanger Dryjecting Machine.
This is a significant step forward for the club and represents a long-term commitment to the quality, health and playing performance of our greens and tees.
Dryjecting is a specialist aeration and sand-injection process that will allow our greenkeeping team to improve drainage, relieve compaction and encourage healthier root growth, helping our surfaces perform better throughout the year.
Most importantly, this investment gives the club greater control over our own maintenance programme. Rather than relying solely on outside contractors and availability, we now have the equipment to carry out this important work when conditions are right and when our greens and tees need it most.
Itโs an exciting investment in the future of Stranraer Golf Club and one that we hope will deliver benefits for many years to come. Weโre committed to continually improving the course and providing members and visitors with the best possible playing conditions.
A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to keep our course in great condition, and this new machine is another important tool that will help our greenkeeping team achieve that.
