16/03/2020
Monday March 16th 2020 will be different from the Mondays we use to know; empty streets, empty offices; our homes are now our offices. For a lot of us this is a new experience but for me as a location independent entrepreneur this my daily routine.
I received a lot of questions about which tools you can use for working remotely, how to serve your customers and keep your business running.
Below a few of the tools I use. Most of the tools below are FREE, or at least have a FREE VERSION you can work with.
ZOOM
A simple tool for webinars but also for conversations with several people. Anyone who logs in can indent later with sound and video. It offers a few more bells and whistles and is a bit more affordable. The live streaming video feature is stable and they offer some cool features like the ability to create โbreak-outโ rooms right within a webinar

MICROSOFT TEAMS
This is an all-in-1 tool. You can meet online, collaborate on files, email, centrally store files, chat, schedule, manage processes, create surveys, give webinars and more. Tip: Free use of Teams during the Corona crisis.

SLACK
Slack is a communication tool that can literally eliminate the hassle of having to go back and forth via email with your team. It allows you to keep in touch with everyone -- and it even connects to other tools you use, so you wonโt have to switch between apps.

TEAMVIEWER
With Teamviewer you can - if necessary - take over the computer remotely. This can be interesting for people who provide IT help, web designers and developers, Virtual Assistants, and just about all other services where you sit 1-on-1 with your customer and have to perform tasks on their computer.
