Ever wondered why one of our meeting rooms is called Wabbes?
When Constantin Brodzki designed the CBR building, he didn’t stop at the façade, choosing every detail with care, from the rosewood partitions on the 8th floor down to the door handles and lift buttons.
For the furniture, he turned to someone close by: his friend and neighbour Jules Wabbes, one of Belgium’s great post-war designers, known for precious woods, stainless steel and an obsession with detail.
Together, they gave the building the feel of a total work of art, where architecture and interior speak the same language.
Today, one of our meeting rooms carries his name. A small tribute to the man who helped make this building feel complete, down to the last detail.
