🎥 From Research to Action: Feminist Futures & Climate Finance 🌍

The Catalystas team was proud to take part in the Walk the Talk Conference last week in Madrid, Spain, funded by DOI, , and where we presented our latest research on how climate response and mitigation financing intersect with feminist funding frameworks — and what it will take to make global finance truly inclusive.

As part of this work, we distributed our policy papers and recommendations to governments, corporations, and women’s rights organizations, calling for more equitable access to the over $1.3 trillion in climate finance deployed annually to strengthen women’s rights movements and advance climate justice.

In this clip from our podcast Catalystas: Unfolding Change, Aditi Mukund, a member of our research team, discusses why feminist organizations must be central to climate finance systems — not just as recipients, but as architects of sustainable and equitable futures.

New Podcast! Corporate Investment and Social Good - Where do corporations, governments, feminists, and climate activists intersect? We are excited to share our latest podcast episode, where we continue the conversation sparked by our research as part of the Walking the Talk Consortium on “The Architecture of Change: Feminist Pathways to Financing Gender Equality.” Our research, and this episode of the podcast, takes a closer look at the role Corporate Social Responsibility can - and should - play in advancing both gender equality and climate change mitigation, and how to better align financing for feminist organizations working on the intersection of these topics. Our founders, Beatrice and Aviva, are joined in this episode by our co-authors, Aditi Mukund, the founder of the Women in International Relations Network (WIRN), and Leonida Odongo, founder of Haki Nawiri Afrika. From examining the barriers to entry for grassroots feminist organizations, to recommendations for improving government policy on corporate investment regulations, this episode really has something for everyone.Listen here on Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts!👉 https://open.spotify.com/episode/0dgzzOhIEMHaUL36AEDdIH?si=64c370668fbc403fTune in, and check out our full paper and the other amazing research projects that make up this research compendium:👉 https://f4ff.global/fund-feminist-futures-research-compendium/
