Hey allemaal!

Op 19 september organiseert de gemeente Amsterdam samen met Sparks Impact een leuke informatieavond over de plannen voor het Rooftop Sportpark op het dak van de Smart Mobility Hub naast de Johan Cruijff ArenA. In 2021 vroegen we al naar jullie ideeën en wensen voor het sportpark, en in 2024 hebben we onderzoek gedaan naar hoe het park bewoners van Zuidoost kan aantrekken. Nu willen we jullie graag vertellen wat we met al die input hebben gedaan én hoe we samen van het Rooftop Sportpark een groot succes kunnen maken.

Benieuwd of er een 3x3 basketbalveld of horeca komt? Of hoe we ervoor zorgen dat iedereen zich welkom voelt? Kom dan zeker langs op 19 september! Er is ook eten en drinken geregeld.

Since the beginning of the year we have been working with to connect Amstel III residents and residents.

Amstel III is in transition and is expecting a mass of new residents flowing into the district. But various pockets of communities such as the residents from , A&O Hostel, Hillside, Tafebergweg, etc., have already established themselves. To foster connection and integration among these communities, the idea of was born. A space at that fosters exchange, connection, and understanding among the different communities.

Every 5 years, elections for the members of the European Parliament (MEPs) are held. Voting on June 6th for the European parliament empowers you to contribute to the direction and priorities of the EU. They are important as they revolve around who will represent you in matters that are important to you. These MEPs, organised in pan-European political groups according to their political stance, decide on new legislation, agreements, and how your tax money is spent. This year, there is a lot at stake. In the years ahead, the EU has to make important decisions on complex issues such as climate change, migration, and the war in Ukraine. But Europe is more divided than ever. Across Europe the far right is rising. The right-wing populists are running election campaigns for their own nation states, and against a united Europe and its core values.

This Friday on behalf of we will have our first edition of the Bullemarkt, a market to offer creative entrepreneurs from a stage.
The market extends from the Bullewijk metro station to the end of the Bullewijkpad, near the Karsp. The Bullemarkt is different from the traditional markets Southeast is known for. During this market, creative entrepreneurs from Zuidoost will have the opportunity to showcase their services to residents and interested parties. It is also the 1st market in the Amstel III area.

Markets of this kind play a vital role in , contributing to the cultural fabric and social cohesion of communities. These vibrant spaces not only offer a wide array of fresh and diverse culinary options but also serve as gathering places where people can connect, share experiences, and celebrate local traditions.
