Cybersecurity and Leadership, Team and Organisational Effectiveness may seem like two very different worlds.

One is often seen as technical.
The other as people-centred.

However, while planning Dominik Gawlowski’s upcoming session: "Cybersecurity for Everyone: How Not to Get Scammed Online", as part of the programme by polishbusinesshub, we noticed how much our work has in common.

As a cybersecurity expert and consultant, Dominik starts with diagnosis: understanding the real risks, gaps and vulnerabilities before recommending a solution.

In my work, I do the same. Before designing any solution, I need to understand the real problem, the system around it, and what needs to shift for the approach to be relevant and sustainable.

We both design and implement processes.

His are often technical.

Mine are centred around leadership, team communication and ways of working.

For me, the shared takeaway was this:
Whether we work in or , good solutions are not just well-designed; they need to work for the people using them in real-life conditions. They help people make better decisions in the reality of their everyday work.

Finance transformation is not just about finance...

After Warsaw 🇵🇱, the global finance modernisation journey continued in Sydney 🇦🇺.

Over two days with the Australian Finance team, we explored what it takes to become true strategic cross-functional partners who advise, coach and challenge their stakeholders.

Because the business needs more than accurate reporting.

It needs sharper insight.
Stronger challenge.
Better questions.
And trusted partners who help shape decisions and drive impact.

This experience was a real partnership in practice, shaped by the energy and openness of the team, and by close collaboration with Suzanne Calicetto, whose leadership helped connect the insights to the reality of the business.

Thank you to Ivy Chu for the seamless logistics, and thanks, team, for the thoughtful Macca’s gift, which I will truly treasure. 🥰

A powerful reminder that modernisation is not just about tools, processes or frameworks.

It is about people changing the way they think, partner, and create value.

From conversations to a running race...

Mike and I first met online through the 6 Team Conditions practitioners community. Last weekend, we met for coffee in Amsterdam while Mike was in the Netherlands for work. A short catch-up then turned into joining a local running race in a beautiful Dutch village.

A good reminder that some professional connections move beyond frameworks, calls, and shared practice. They can also create genuine connections, shared experiences, and a sense of momentum beyond the virtual space.

It is easy to think of team effectiveness only in terms of frameworks and diagnostics. But at the centre of all of it is something more : relationships, trust, energy, and shared experience.

I recently travelled to Poland 🇵🇱 to co-facilitate an upskilling programme for a client as part of a global modernisation journey.

Returning to Poland for work is always a great experience and a valued opportunity to be in my home country. ❤️

Over two intensive days, we focused on strengthening the core capabilities necessary for an effective transition and identifying practical ways to collaborate and sustain momentum.

I’m looking forward to coming back to Poland for other projects.

Porywająca energia.

Jednym z momentów, które szczególnie zapadły mi w pamięć, było wystąpienie o drodze do niezależności finansowej i o tym, jak rozwijać biznes, nie tracąc równowagi w życiu.
