Last week we hosted at our office in Amsterdam to organize the finale of their five month program in the form of a Dragon’s Den. Four candidates who followed the program pitched their start up idea to the dragons. It was a close call, and we congratulate Maarten Buijsman winning the finale. And wish the other entrepreneurs all the best with their next steps to realize their ideas. @ Heartbeat Strategy

HEMA is a company that exists since 1926, and they challenged us on the topic of sustainable innovation and digitization! We brought outside insights from 20 MSc students from Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Within one day we were able to provide HEMA with five different roadmaps each containing trends in the field of sustainable innovation and digitization - backed up with a business rational.

A big thanks to Martin Molenkamp and Wessel Kroon from HEMA by putting forward their challenge! On to the next one!

See in this video how ING Nederland challenged us with a real life sustainability topic. We brought outside-in perspectives from 40 MSc students from Nyenrode Business Universiteit. By studying sustainable innovations in other industries and applying we were able to translate new scenarios for ING Nederland.

Just a few weeks ago the sustainability department of .comprovided us with their sustainability challenge. We brought in 40 MBA students from Nyenrode Business Universiteit. A one day pressure cooker based on . We studied sustainable innovations from nine different industries. Translated to nine solution scenarios for Booking.com with a roadmap.

Today is Booking.com's finale - a three week - zero equity - accelerator program to support scale-ups within the sustainable travel industry. The total available grant is 2 mln euro. Heartbeat Strategy wishes the 10 finalists good luck!
