You're in a procurement meeting at 9:30am, and by noon, you're probably reviewing emissions data. By 3pm, someone from HR is asking you to discuss diversity metrics. And somehow, you're also the one drafting the sustainability section of the annual report.
This can sound familiar to many.

This role should be viewed as an opportunity and not an onus.
ESG is one of the few fields where a background in finance, operations, communications, or even supply chain can all be genuinely relevant. Cross-functional thinking is not only valued but also essential. Where the work you do directly influences how a business operates, reports, and makes decisions.
