We are proud to announce the Surprising Star of 2018: Frederico Vannini! Frederico is a student of Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) in Barcelona, who plays blues and flamenco. He has won the competition by playing his song "Blues for China" on his electric guitar (see www.surprisingstars.com). The online voting audience gave him the most votes out of our final three candidates.

Frederico will perform live with China Moses and the Metropole Orkest Big Band at Bimhuis in Amsterdam on the 16th of May 2018. Tickets can be bought via the link: https://www.bimhuis.nl/en/calendar/metropole-orkest-big-band-china-moses/
