Continuous growth in the market for used agricultural machinery.

According to the latest Troostwijk Auctions Index, more agricultural machinery was auctioned in the Netherlands and Belgium in 2025 than in the previous year. Particularly the supply of tractors and front loaders increased with significance.

International reach and the right sales strategy are becoming increasingly important. Troostwijk Auctions is seeing a growing demand from Eastern Europe, amongst other regions.

The industry association Fedecom also notes that uncertainty in the sector is affecting investment decisions. Caroline Bekkering, director of Fedecom, says:
“If government policy becomes more stable and predictable, companies will once again be better able to plan and finance their investments. This will significantly increase the sector’s willingness to invest and help restore confidence in the medium term.”
