An artist and a piece I particularly admire. Excited to share my news about starting an online MA in Fine Arts at Falmouth University on the Cornwall coast of England. This is online and fully asynchronous, 2-year part-time program. I start on the 22nd of September.

Each evening the sun goes down earlier and I keep adding lights to brighten it up in here.

The gardeners found it strange that I didn’t want the leaves blown away. Like advises, shredding them and leaving them on the ground is best.

Humbling and tiring morning getting very little done. I tried to paint a waterproof membrane on the bottom of the cabinet under the sink. The wood warped and rippled so i ripped it out after painting two coats. Plus the dishwashing liquid dispenser is broken and leaking. And then my overalls button broke. So I am giving up for the day and feel dejected, but still proud of myself for taking note of all the warning signs that this was not working, and making the choice not to take shortcuts. I’ll put in a proper under layer next week.

Floors done! I had to get more topcoat though, and had a little (paint) “accident” when trolling through the mistint shelves. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Bedroom paint nearly done. Last 6 sheets of tile installed. It’s been an honor, conducting the miniature orchestra of talents.
