The Magician keeps showing up.
In client work, and right now in my own life.
Here it is in a few of her forms. Each one made for a different client, their energy married to the principle. I don’t have to do this. It’s the same archetype either way. But I love seeing how it shows up in particular. The one on the cover came through this week, for a client.
The magician, the alchemist, the sorcerer, the wizard, the witch. They all carry the same principle. Taking something that already exists and moving it from one condition into another.
Her real domain is the threshold.
She isn’t here to improve anything, or to add. She brings out what’s already there. Lead doesn’t become gold on its own. A person doesn’t become themselves by waiting. There has to be heat, and someone tending it.
The magician is my primary archetype too. And a lot of the clients who find me are magicians, alchemists, witches at heart. Often enough that I’ve wondered whether I’m projecting parts of myself onto the work.
Then I look at what’s at the core of it. These are people who want to transmute. They take an idea, a situation, and turn it into something different. It isn’t creation for the sake of creation. It isn’t leading, directing, ruling. It’s wanting to touch your soul and help you through a transition of sorts.
Which is the whole reason we read the energetic signature. To understand the vibe you’re giving off, and who it’s calling in.
I’m at a threshold myself right now, packing up a life. Maybe that’s why I was so completely drawn in by her knowing, confident look.
Field notes are for the parts of the process, not just the finished outcome.
