Together with our three children, we started Studio ROOF in 2005. Our inspiration lies in the beauty of childhood, the imagination, nature, peoples of the world, art and craftsmanship, and our drive has above all been the urge to create, and to unfold a new imagery.

Every city is made of stories, and every story begins with an encounter.

A cargo bike, a market stall and a head full of ideas.

Before the city has properly woken up, butterflies have already gathered around him and a peacock quietly keeps watch.

Taking Studio ROOF for a ride! We loaded up our cargo bike and spent the day at our very first market in Amsterdam. It was a beautiful day, lots of lovely conversations and one more adventure to remember.
