Is Amsterdam ready for some Saunagus?!

HEATLAB is ready to test the market!

Saunagus is a Scandinavian ritual that encompasses hot & cold temperatures, sounds and scents. It is a reset for body & mind, a guided experience by experienced professionals.

The expected demographic for the bathing suit sauna concept is a young urban health seeking audience, mostly organized through gyms, teams or runners clubs.

Founders Emil en Lisa have been working extremely hard over the past weeks to build the physical area for their new business and tonight they hosted their first ever test session on Dutch soil with a ladies field hockey team from

The couple are here straight out of Copenhagen to fill an unsaturated market opportunity in the recently developing sauna trend in Ams, that’s up until now dominated by self-service remote access saunas.

With “Saunagus” entering the market, differentiation is about to come upon this city!

If there’s one thing that fills our heart, it’s live collaborations. The guys at knew exactly how to celebrate entrepreneurship within the coffee space last week.

This might seem like just another event to you but this really is marketing done well and smart.

Why pay 10k for a booth at ACF and then struggle to have max. two colleagues meet with your audience on the commercial festival if you can have ALL your colleagues meet ALL your customers on the same day for a fraction of the budget. Maxing your brand-customers touchpoint by a factor 100.

The answer: you throw a festival! Invite all your coffee friends and collaborators, organize workshops, talks, cuppings and bar takeovers of Amsterdams (and Europes) finest micro roasters.

Nothing beats an actual handshake and a genuine share of food and drinks.

Learn from each other’s insights ( and ) opening up the financial books on their business growth, was amazing.

Last but not least: your festival is your test market. Have you noticed their newest NPD being tested?
