We see it every day: teams adopting tools like ChatGPT and calling it “AI strategy”. But without clear ownership, governance, and direction, it creates risk. Think data leaks, shadow IT, and growing dependency on tech providers you don’t control.
A data strategy is not an IT topic. It’s a boardroom decision. It defines where you want to go as an organisation and how data helps you get there. Without it, you collect data without purpose and invest without impact.
The good news? You don’t need to start big. Start with one use case. Make value tangible. Build from there. 📈
