Yes, this weekend we reached the 20,000! The SOL team has done an excellent job. At the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak we were not sure what would happen, but the lockdown has shown that online training is a great way to learn. Recently we received a very nice reaction from one of the participants in our online communication course.
“I think this course was very useful for me. I was comfortable working with it. The videos were mostly clear and good. I think, I have improved my English. I need to study for 2-3 hours a day in order to comply with the training schedule. I liked the work with the pronouncing dashboard. Thanks! “

What a great day it was! With approximately 50 people from the maritime sector and a big group of other volunteers we picked up more than 300 kg of litter on the beach between Wassenaar and Noordwijk.
We were surprised about the amount of small pieces of plastic, cigarette filters and even broken glass that we picked up. It was a great experience and a real eye opener, reconfirming how much pollution we all create. We would like to thank the North Sea Foundation for their commitment to a cleaner environment and for a well organised day.

The Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour 2019 was organised by the North Sea Foundation, a nature and environmental organisation that strives for a clean and healthy North Sea.

On Tuesday August 13th, the staff of Spot On Learning will join the ‘Boskalis Beach Clean Up Tour 2019’. We are looking forward to having a great day while helping to clean up the beautiful Dutch coastline.

The Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour is a North Sea Foundation initiative. This organization has been involved in protecting the North Sea for more than 35 years. It focuses on four goals: protecting nature, clean sea, sustainable fishing and environmentally friendly energy. Together with others they work on solving the biggest environmental challenges in the North Sea. The Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour is an awareness campaign that is part of the Clean Sea program.

Spot On Learning will visit the Maritime & Offshore Career Event 2017 (MOCE) in Rotterdam on April 19, 2017. MOCE is the largest career event in Europe that focuses on the maritime, offshore and energy industry. The 11th edition of this event will take place in WTC Rotterdam. Let us know if you plan to go there so we can meet. We will spend time with our partner NTTA, the training location for the maritime & offshore industry in the north of the Netherlands.
