Most unique restoration project: 22 wooden disks from the German Emperor Wilhelm II. Cutting thousands of these disks was his main hobby during his stay in 1918-20. The restored disks are part of their current exhibition ‘Help, the Kaiser is coming’ on display until December 2 2018.

A new but difficult task!
Assembling this Dutch Louis XV gilded mirror frame, due to greedy woodworms (old damage) i use paraloid B72 to give it more strength.

Restauratie van een Franse Napoleon III penantkast (ca. 1850-1860), met boulle techniek: inlegwerk met messing en schildpad.
Foto gemaakt tijdens het lijmen van veel los messing dat door de krimp van het hout los geraakt is.

Druk bezig met een nieuw project: side tables naar eigen ontwerp. Geïnspireerd op antieke parket vloeren, gemaakt van hergebruikte materialen: 17e eeuws tot 21e eeuws hout op een strak stalen onderstel.
Maten en materialen naar wens toepasbaar.
