🌱 Exciting times! The new gerbera plants have arrived. Each tiny plant is carefully placed into its own rockwool block, where its journey begins. Over the next weeks, we’ll give these little babies all the care and attention they need to grow into strong, healthy plants. Soon, they’ll give us beautiful flowers ready to colour your world! 🌸💕

Next step in our plant replacement: placing the pots filled with rockwool. Almost ready to add the young gerbera plants and start a new growing season! 🌱🌸

We use rockwool as a substrate for our gerbera plants🌸. Rockwool allows us to precisely control the water💦 and nutrients that we give the plants. Its clean and uniform structure also reduces the risk of diseases. In addition, rockwool is recyclable, making it a sustainable choice for gerbera cultivation. 🌿

The old plants are removed, the plant racks cleaned and disinfected, and now it’s time to place new drippers 💦. These drippers supply our plants with water. Every pot will have its own dripper. Soon, the young plants can enjoy fresh water and fertilisers everyday!

Vandaag 4 juni is het Nationale Opa en Oma Dag! Een mooie dag om opa's en oma's of bonus grootouders extra in het zonnetje te zetten. 💐. Verwen ze met een mooie, kleurrijke bos gerbera's! Of ga samen naar de bloemist en laat opa of oma zelf een mooi boeket samenstellen.

The yearly plant change has started! We replace older gerbera plants with strong, young ones 💪🏻. Young plants give stronger flowers that have a better vaselife and have bigger flower buds.

But first, time to clean 💦 everything so that the new plants can have a fresh clean start! 🌱
