Technologisch Gezelschap (TG) is the study association for all chemical engineering programmes at De At this moment TG has around 700 members.

Technologisch Gezelschap (TG) is the study association for all chemical engineering programmes at Delft University of Technology. Since 1890 TG represents and looks after student interests and is one of the oldest study associations of The Netherlands. The association has many old traditions and her own unique character but always strives to be innovative. To accomplish her goals, each years TG or

ganises many different activities, from excursions to lectures, symposia and a foreign excursion tour. In collaboration with four other study associations in Delft, TG also organises 'De Delftse Bedrijvendagen', the largest technical carreer fair in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg. The content of all the activities is not necesserely bound to technical or scientific topic. There is also space for society related topics. Education

Another important task of TG is watching over the quality of education. The Chemical Engineering programme is of the most highly rated programmes in the world and we strive to continuusly maintain and improve the programmes. Many committes led by our commissioner of education strive to evaluate courses and make sure the feedback reaches the propper responsible person. Being a member of TG gives you many advantages. As TG member you can participate in all our activities for just a few euros. You get our quarter yearly magazine and our yearbook for free. Yearly TG also organises many fun activities and each thursday there is an open bar called 'Bar het Lab' where you can grab a drink with your study mates. For many people TG is a social platform for the Delft Chemical Technologist. Each year around 200 new bachelor students and 80 new master students join us. Of all these members around 90 enthusiastic members fill all our committees. On this page you can see what all these people do for the association. All the work provided by the work and all committee members is on a voluntary basis, this makes all the activities cheap and accessible. For more information you can drop by and have a good coffee and a chat in our board room in the Applied Sciences building (C0.010).

✨Meet the board✨

Hello, my name is Fabian van den Berg and I’m the Commissioner of Career Affairs. This means that together with Amber and Floor, I’m responsible for the contact with companies. This year I also helped the ladies committee and I will help the first year weekend committee.

Besides TG I’m also part of another board which organises Delft Career Days. Which is the biggest technical career fair of the BeNeLux. Last year almost 3200 students signed up and 200 companies participated in the events. This year we hope to do even better and set up the best DCD possible.

I grew up in Bodegraven where I played soccer for a couple of years. I also love to cook and go skiing. Besides that I like to hang on the couch and play a bit of track mania against my housemates.

It almost that time of the year again, where we get to have a week full of amazing and fun activities to celebrate our 133rd Dies!🎉 During this week we wil be having a total of five great activities you will be able to attend. Besides the traditional dies diner, party and reception you can also join us at the fun activity, the beer cantus🍻, and the cultural activity, ice skating⛸! The registration for the activities will open soon, but make sure to save the dates!

BUISCO 23 💚
Two weeks touring through England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Ireland 🇮🇪 visiting multiple companies and universities and participating in cultural activities. It were two amazing weeks where we had a lot of fun! Thank you Buisco 23 for organizing this trip! Thank you Hoogewerff-Fonds for making this trip possible!💙

Hi, my name is Jorn de Vries and this year I am the first ever commissioner of career affairs. Beforehand the Technologisch Gezelschap was with 5 board member and since this year we are with 6!😄 Most of the time I am working on ‘De Delftse Bedrijvendagen’ the biggest technical career fair!!👔 At TG I’m responsible for alumni relations and the QQ’er of the Buisco, Dacie and the Sportcie.👠⚽🚂
A little about myself, I was born in Friesland and I’ve lived all of my life there🥰. I love to travel, go for a run and from time to time you can find me in the kitchen cooking a nice dish! Furthermore you can find me in the bar, on the terrace or in the kurk for a little dance. 🕺🏼🥳

presents Sustainability Report 2022:
Fully on track to become carbon neutral by 2040.

✔ Firmly on track to reach our CO₂ reduction and renewable energy targets.

✔ In addition to Scope 1 and 2 sustainability targets, for the first time we have calculated our Scope 3 emissions, and we've set Scope 3 reduction targets.

✔ Nobian participates in three internationally recognized standards (EcoVadis, CDP, SBTi) to report transparently on sustainability data. Our Sustainability Report and KPIs are independently assured.

✔ Nobian is working to accelerate its reduction to zero CO₂ emissions even further and has signed an Expression of Principles with the Dutch government as part of the tailor-made agreements.

Grow Greener Together
Nobian, a European market leader in the production of salt, essential chemicals, and energy for industry, today presented its 2022 annual sustainability report. Nobian’s sustainability results are in line with its ambitious sustainability program Grow Greener Together launched last year.

To support reaching its goal to be one of the most sustainable chemical companies in Europe, Nobian has set a strong target of becoming carbon neutral by 2040, ahead of the Paris agreement, with 100% renewable energy. In 2022 Nobian achieved a 19,8% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to 2020, putting the company firmly on track to reach its short-term target of a 25% reduction by 2025 and carbon neutral by 2040.

Apart from reducing carbon emissions and increasing the use of renewable energy, sustainability targets include the development of underground energy storage, certification of green products, such as hydrogen, recycling, safety, and community action.

Hi everyone!
I am Lotte Coffeng and I am this year’s commissioner of education of TG for both the bachelor MST and the master Chemical Engineering. This means that I am responsible for checking that the high quality of education is maintained at all times. Besides this main task, I am also the QQ of the halucie, they organise the Dies week and the Half lustrum week this year, and the QQ of the EJWcie. They will be organizing the eerstejaarsweekend (first year weekend) this year for the new first year MST students. In my free time I like to play hockey, soccer and I really like skiing. Even though my year as TG board is not over yet, I can definitely say that it has been really awesome so far!

Hi! My name is Linde Bergink and this year I am the President of Technologisch Gezelschap. I make sure everything runs like clockwork within the association.⏰ If you have any questions about TG, I'm here to either help you or direct you to the right person. Please don't hesitate to contact me. 🙋‍♀️

A little bit more about me. I'm 22 years old and I'm originally from Utrecht, but for the last three years, I've lived in Delft with my three roommates!🏡 I love to just hang out with friends and have a drink🥂 with some 'bitterballen'. I also really love to travel and see what is out there.🌏✈️ The last is very convenient since my family lives in Norway🇳🇴, where I travel too as often as possible. As I'm also a member of LAGA and since having time for sports is difficult during a board year, I won't be spending much time in the rowing boat.🚣‍♀️ However, I try to go to the gym or go for a run🏃‍♀️, as often as I can.
