👩‍🎓 Aletta Jacobs (1854–1929) was the first woman in the Netherlands to attend a university and become a doctor.

She studied at the University of Groningen and dedicated her career to improving women’s health.

Jacobs also fought for women’s rights, especially the right to vote. Her activism helped lead to women gaining the right to vote in the Netherlands in 1919.

Today, she is remembered as a pioneer who helped open doors for women in education, medicine, and politics
