What started in 1938 as a farrier, has grown over the years into a leading manufacturer of machines for the storage, grading and bagging of potatoes, onions, carrots and other agricultural crops. The step from farrier to manufacturer of agricultural machinery is smaller than it seems. Our location, Franeker, is located in an important potato growing area and in order to achieve more efficient busi

ness operations, the seed potato growers felt the need to mechanize. While in the past the delivery program consisted mainly of standard machines, today there is a clear trend towards customized machines and installations. This has enabled us to offer an extensive range of machines that has developed further over the years. The delivery program is divided into three groups: storage, grading and processing. The third generation of Bijlsma is now in charge and you can find our red-yellow machines all over the world, because the quality and performance of a “Bijlsma Hercules” are recognized on every continent. Sales, engineering, production, assembly and service are all centrally controlled from the headquarter in Franeker. Thanks to more than 80 years of knowledge and experience, we can guarantee you the most optimal solution in every situation.

In opdracht van zwartmachines.nl hebben wij deze combi geleverd aan een klant bij ons in de regio. De combi bestaat uit een stortbak BSB 4120, een productreiniger met PU-spiraalrollen en gladde RVS-rollen, een voorsorteerder met diabolorollen en een inspectieunit. Met deze complete oplossing kan de klant aardappelen en uien ontvangen, reinigen en vervolgens voorsorteren op maat en kwaliteit.

Commissioned by zwartmachines.nl, we have delivered this unit to a customer in our region. The unit consists of a receiving hopper BSB 4120, a product cleaner with PU spiral rollers and smooth stainless-steel rollers, a pre-grader with diabolo rollers, and an inspection unit. With this complete solution, the customer can receive, clean, and then pre-grade potatoes and onions by size and quality.

Afgelopen week hebben diverse servicemonteurs van ROPA een training bij ons gevolgd op het gebied van inschuurtechiek. De training combineerde theoretische sessies met praktijkoefeningen, waardoor de servicemonteurs direct ervaring konden opdoen met verschillende systemen en toepassingen. Daarnaast bood de week volop gelegenheid om ervaringen uit te wisselen en de samenwerking tussen ROPA en Bijlsma Hercules verder te versterken. Met deze gezamenlijke investering in kennis en vakmanschap zetten beide organisaties een volgende stap richting betrouwbare service.

Last week, several service technicians from ROPA attended a training session with us on storage technology. The training combined theoretical sessions with practical exercises, allowing the service technicians to gain direct experience with various systems and applications. In addition, the week offered ample opportunity to exchange experiences and further strengthen the collaboration between ROPA and Bijlsma Hercules. With this joint investment in knowledge and craftsmanship, both organizations are taking another step towards reliable service.

Onlangs hebben we een breed scala aan stortbakken geleverd aan ROPA. Het betreft de modellen BSB 4124, BSB 5124 HS, BSB 6124 HS en BSB 6124 XL, allemaal voorzien van een productreiniger en een aantal ook met een voorsorteerder. De stortbakken zijn rijk uitgerust met accessoires waaronder automatische capaciteitsregeling, in hoogte verstelbare instortafdichting, TurboClean voor de PU-rollen, SoftFlow op de productafvoerbanden, etc. Bent u nog op zoek naar een stortbak voor dit seizoen? We recently delivered a wide range of receiving hoppers to ROPA. These include the models BSB 4124, BSB 5124 HS, BSB 6124 HS, and BSB 6124 XL, all equipped with a product cleaner, and a few also with a pre-grader. The receiving hoppers are equipped with various accessories including automatic capacity control, height-adjustable frontside coverage, TurboClean for the PU rollers, SoftFlow on the product conveyors, etc. Are you still looking for a receiving hopper for this season? 💯 | 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗷𝗻
In opdracht van onze dealer SAPC hebben wij deze compacte sorteerlijn in Frankrijk geleverd. Een kistenkantelaar leegt de kisten met aardappelen in een bufferbunker, waarna de loofresten worden verwijderd door de loofscheider en de grondresten door de borstelmachine. Vervolgens kunnen de aardappelen op kwaliteit worden gesorteerd op de rollenleestafel en op maat worden gesorteerd door de sorteermachine BG 15.000/5. Iedere maatsortering kan worden opgeslagen in kisten of worden afgeleverd in big bags.

💯 | 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲
On behalf of our dealer SAPC, we have delivered this compact grading line in France. A box tipper empties the boxes with potatoes into a buffer bunker, after which the haulm residues are removed on the haulm separator and the soil residues on the brushing machine. After that, the potatoes can be graded by quality on the roller inspection table and graded by size on the grading machine BG 15.000/5. Each size range can be stored in boxes or delivered in big bags.
