Bedankt Startup Weekend Groningen voor de organisatie voor deze mooie avond!

Last Tuesday Auke Schotanus challenged us to think again about problems. He gave a perfect example with this elevator. It is slow, so maybe it needs a better engine that makes it faster...

But what would happen to the solution space if we would reframe the problem to e.g. "waiting in the elevator takes long". Next thing you know, you find yourself partying in a disco elevator!

Design thinking is often associated with brainstorming, idea generation and a wall full of colourful post-its. Research shows that group brainstorming isn't very productive. This association might be one of the reasons that sometimes DT gets a bad reputation.

What are your tactics for productively producing great ideas?
