Today we are looking back on a project for Cisco Live, a global platform for technology innovators!

We transformed the Rai in Amsterdam into an immersive learning and networking space using over 5500 Wentex SET frame modules. These modules created breakout rooms up to 5 meters high, complete with sound-absorbing materials and SEG clothes in corporate colors. We even introduced doors within the SET Frame structure for enhanced accessibility. With visually appealing backdrops and demo presentation desks, we ensured an unforgettable event experience.

Wist jij dat Thearent naast verhuur ook de complete realisatie van beurstands kan verzorgen middels onze SET Frame's? Wij leveren hiervoor vooraf een 3D render aan, zodat u precies weet wat u krijgt en hoe de stand eruit komt te zien. Dit kan voor simpele wanden en stands tot aan volledig ingerichte stands.

Voor Oud Goud Inkoop mochten wij een mooie basis stand neerzetten in de RAI Amsterdam afgelopen maand. Wij hebben hiervoor een U opstelling gemaakt met doorlopende pees in zowel de stand als voor de balie die geheel uit SET frame bestond.

In partnership with .nl and we are honoured to be looking back on an event in Amsterdam last October: Hyundai Re:Style 2023 by Jeremy Scott.

Fashion visionary Jeremy Scott in collaboration with Hyundai transformed old car parts into amazing fashion items through which he put an emphasis and much needed message on a circular economy where products are reused for new purposes.

For this event we have delivered and built 200 meters of SET Frame walls that were 3,5 meter high. That means we have realised a total of 700 square meter of SET Frame and the result was amazing!

Luxonos zet activiteiten van Thearent in Nederland voort

Luxonos uit Almere zet de Nederlandse activiteiten van Thearent voort onder dezelfde naam. Nadat eigenaren en partners Michel Wenzel en Marjon Vermeulen begin augustus de sluiting van de Nederlandse tak van de Thearent Group aankondigden, meldde de Almeerse audiovisuele totaalleverancier zich en is de overname in sneltreinvaart tot stand gekomen.

Michel Wenzel namens Thearent: “Marjon en ik hadden weloverwogen besloten de activiteiten in Nederland per 31 augustus te beëindigen. Nadat we dat aankondigden toonden Anco van Vliet en Mitch van Giersbergen van Luxonos concrete belangstelling om de activiteiten van Thearent voort te laten bestaan. Daarmee kreeg het ineens een onverwachte wending en dat voelde meteen heel goed. Anco en Mitch zijn jong, hebben een enthousiast en professioneel team om zich heen verzameld en willen groeien. De gedrevenheid die zij nu uitstralen, herkennen Marjon en ik van onszelf jaren geleden. Wij zijn dan ook blij dat zij het stokje overnemen en de naam Thearent laten voortbestaan.”

Anco van Vliet namens Luxonos: “Na het lezen van het persbericht waarin Michel en Marjon aankondigde te stoppen hebben wij contact gezocht”. Tijdens dit eerste gesprek bleek dat we een duidelijke klik hadden en dat was het startpunt voor verdere gesprekken. Michel is een fijn persoon en wij huldigen het principe dat spullen niet bepalend zijn voor het succes van een bedrijf, maar wel de werkwijze en de persoonlijke benadering. Dat is een verbindende factor en door deze overname kunnen wij onze bestaande klanten nu ook voorzien van de hoogste kwaliteit gordijnen en andere textielproducten. Daarnaast kunnen we de relaties van Thearent vanaf nu ook van A tot Z bedienen.”

Luxonos (een samenvoeging van Lux en Sonos, wat in het Latijn licht en geluid betekent) is een audiovisuele totaalleverancier met Almere als thuisbasis. Luxonos levert techniek op zowel grote als kleine schaal, waarbij valt te denken aan licht, geluid, video, special effects, podia, pipe & drape enzovoort. Deze techniek wordt toegepast bij presentaties en congressen, bedrijfsfeesten, festivals, bruiloften, maar ook uitvaarten en publieksevenementen.

Thearent is gespecialiseerd in de verhuur en verkoop van textielproducten voor theater- en televisieproducties, evenementen, beurzen en concerten. Thearent biedt toepassingen zoals pipe & drape, gordijnen, SET frame structuren, sound baffles, projectieschermen, Eurotrack railsystemen en nog veel meer. Zij zijn ook uw bedrijf voor decoflanel, molton en vele andere stoffen.

De overname wordt geformaliseerd op 1 september 2023. Vanaf dat moment doen Michel Wenzel en Marjon Vermeulen een stapje terug en ligt het management en de dagelijkse operatie van de Thearent activiteiten in handen van Anco van Vliet, Mitch van Giersbergen en hun team. Natuurlijk blijven Michel Wenzel en Marjon Vermeulen betrokken met advies.

What an incredible journey it has been at the inaugural edition of the European Para Championships in Rotterdam! From August 8th to 20th, athletes from 45 countries showcased their determination in 10 thrilling para sports.

The event was a true celebration of inclusivity, featuring Para archery, Para badminton, Boccia, Para cycling, Goalball, Para judo, Shooting Para sport, Para taekwondo, Wheelchair basketball, and Wheelchair tennis. These remarkable athletes demonstrated their unwavering dedication, proving that sports truly knows no boundaries.

Thearent provided countless drapes and Pipe & Drape setups as well as the the stunning projection walls that lit up the opening ceremony.

Cisco Live is a global platform that provides technology innovators with education and inspiration through large-scale events and on-demand education. It serves as the ultimate hub for Cisco customers and partners to acquire knowledge and foster a sense of community. The event was held at the Rai in Amsterdam, utilizing all of its spaces. Do you need a fast and easy way to create breakout rooms or other temporary spaces? With the latest development of our Wentex SET Frame application, it is now possible to add doors to the SET Frame structure. This makes it easier than ever to create a lockable space with SET Frame modules, while still having the same customizations options that make these frames so popular.

SET Frame is an innovative modular building system that allows you to easily construct structures up to five meters high and any width. The frames are made of aluminum and all parts fit together without the use of tools or screws, making them easy to assemble and disassemble. They can be fitted with SEG prints on both sides for added style, just like the other Set Frame modules.
With the addition of doors, you can now quickly create secure spaces. The doors are lightweight but strong enough to withstand wear and tear, making them perfect for semi-permanent solutions. The possibility to add acoustic material also means that the sound level in your break rooms or other temporary spaces can be greatly reduced - perfect for when concentration is required! Acoustic material also helps to keep outside noise out and provides privacy if needed.
