Reducing emissions first, compensating what remains
For the third consecutive year, we have voluntarily compensated the CO₂ emissions generated by our sea freight container transport from China to our warehouse. In close partnership with Koninklijke Rotra , we compensated 543.543 kg of CO₂.

This amount is lower than previous years, not because we transported less, but because we transported more efficiently.

Through improved planning, optimized container utilization, and smarter logistics coordination, we significantly reduced the CO₂ emissions generated per shipment. As a result, less compensation was required.

While CO₂ compensation is important, not emitting CO₂ in the first place is always better than compensating it afterwards.

Sustainability is an ongoing journey. The reduction in compensated CO₂ in 2025 reflects real progress, and motivates us to keep improving.
