⚠️ AI sounds confident… but Dangerous Goods require accuracy!
*Disclaimer: The images accompanying this post were generated using AI and contain many errors.

🤖 We are seeing more and more AI-generated content about dangerous goods being shared publicly. And while it often looks professional and sounds correct, many AI tools are currently not able to provide technically accurate answers.
📚 The explanations may sound convincing…but contain regulatory mistakes or incorrect interpretations.

🚩 Even more concerning: AI-generated images of hazard labels, handling labels, marks, and symbols. In our experience, almost always contain errors. In our sector, “almost correct” is not correct.

When inaccurate information is shared (especially by professionals) it can mislead less experienced users and affect industry credibility.

🛠️ AI is a tool. It does not replace competence, regulatory knowledge, or professional review.

🔎 Verify. Review. Validate.

✅ Safety and accuracy must remain our priority.

🖼️🤖Below are examples of posters created using AI, showing the 9 classes of dangerous goods and their hazard labels.

⚠️ Can you spot the mistakes?

💌📦 Valentine’s Day may have been this weekend…
but we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to say this:
To everyone involved in the transport of dangerous goods: your attention to detail, respect for regulations and procedures, and commitment to safety make the difference every single day.
Behind every compliant shipment is a team that cares.
Today (and every day), we celebrate the people behind safe deliveries!
Especially our colleagues and teams at DGM, and all the partners we work with across the supply chain.
Thank you for making safety your priority.
❤️ Happy (belated) Valentine’s Day!

🔋 IATA 2026 Lithium Battery Guidance is now available!
IATA has recently published the updated Lithium Battery Guidance Document, aligned with: ICAO Technical Instructions and IATA DGR 67th Edition.

You can download the guidance here:

The document includes updates and clarifications regarding:
✔ State of Charge (SoC) requirements
✔ Battery-powered vehicles
✔ Sodium-ion batteries (UN 3551 / UN 3552)
✔ Supply chain responsibilities

If you are involved in shipping lithium batteries by air, it’s worth reviewing.
Now is a good time to verify your procedures are aligned with the 2026 requirements.
