Dear all,
Last week I was approached by Koen Lemmens, CEO of Karting Genk, asking if I could take the lead in organising the remaining Belgian Max Challenge and BNL Karting Series races for 2023.
This request came to me after it became clear that Esmée Rosman has indicated that she is now resigning from her position.
As karting, and Karting Genk in particular, are still very close to my heart, I have decided to agree to Koen's request, so that this season can be completed.
Esmée will leave Karting Genk in Mid-June 2023. Until then, she still have the main responsibility during the races. I will be in the background watching the preparation for the races that have still yet to occur.
Besides this, Karting Genk will immediately start looking for a new track manager and promoter for the races. Should this person be found soon, he or she will be trained by me and can then already take part in the races.
I will still discuss exactly how we will approach all this in concrete terms. This is because I also have obligations to other clients in addition to this project, which were already defined earlier this year.
I would also like to say that I will not be working as an employee for Karting Genk, but that this project has been set up on a freelance basis.
