💥Real talk💥
Last week I had a complete breakdown. I was so exhausted from everything.

I looked at my life, and I was not happy at all. I feel that I spend too much time after my laptop and I don't have enough free time to do why I decided in the first place to start my own business.

Something needs to change!‼

Recap: when I started my business, I never thought of launching a course or a program; I just wanted to freelance, travel the world, and live a happy life.

And when Covid hit, I was "stuck" in Vietnam. But that gave me time to think about what I really wanted, in life, with my business with everything. And slowly, I wanted more than just freelancing.

As my business was growing, I got overwhelmed and was completely burned out. I decided to invest in a business coach, who helped me set up the foundation to grow my business= mission accomplished.

But what's next. DO I want to launch a course, a program? And my answer was YES.

But how do you do launch, how do you create, how can I grow my email list? I don't know?🤷‍♀️

So it's time to make a new investment in myself and my business. So I decided to sign up for Yay for 100K from Courtney Chaal (also my client)💪

And the funny thing is that every time I was editing Courtney her episodes, I took notes like a crazy person! She knows her sh*t. 💁‍

So I'm super excited for this 12 months adventure, where I will streamline my service and launch a course.

Are you investing in yourself?🙌

Hey IG Fam! I’ve got some questions about your current content creation strategy:
❓Is content creation taking way too much of your time that could be spent on revenue-generating activities?

⏰ It’s time to come up with a more intuitive way of creating and scheduling your content consistently.

Here are the top 4 ways to make sure your content doesn't take to much of your time:

Batch Record - record multiple episodes at a time so you can bank up weeks of content in advance rather than recording one episode per week.

Bench out Content Topics - we don’t have an endless amount of time to come up with ideas. Prepare content topics ahead of time.

Repurpose - From a single podcast, you can create at least 2 weeks of content already. Create promotional posts, quotes post, turn them into blogs and even YouTube videos.

Seek help - you can hire a VA or content creators to help you plan, write and create your week or month of content.

No matter how you approach content creation strategy, there’s always a way to improve the process and trim the time spent to create polished content. Just remember to cut the work time and not the quality corners if you want to reach wonderfully performing content metrics.

Yay! It's there your first interview. Done right, podcast interviews sound easy. Conversation flows effortlessly from one topic to the next, and both the host and guest sound like they're enjoying themselves. But that doesn't happen by magic. Interviewing is a skill. And it takes practice.

Here are some of our interview tips for you!

‼Before you hit that record button, have a couple of minutes of conversation with your guest so that you can build a connection and they feel comfortable with you.

‼Explain to your guest what they can expect and ask them if they have any questions before you hit that record button
Thank your guest for taking the time to be on your show, and you can tell them that if they say something that they want to cut out, you can do that. (this can be a reassurance for your guest)

‼Be present, and make sure that you turned off all the notifications and that you put your phone on flight mode (tell this also to your guest)

‼You did your research, and your guest is prepaid for the questions. Now is it important that you listen to your guest's answers, and you asked follow-up questions.

‼Use the questions that you prepared as a guide. If the conversation goes another direction, let it flow (but keep an eye on the purpose of the conversation)

And if it goes another direction and fits with your show, and that's something that has your listeners' interest, you can always do a second interview with this guest.

Do you practice these tips?🤔

Hosting a podcast interview is a lot harder than it sounds. It's not a simple as having a friendly chat in front of a pair of microphones. If you don't prepare, you could end up with a boring interview that fails to entertain your listeners and bad reviews.

Once you found your guest, prepare in advance. But how do you prepare your guest for the interview? Keep in mind that not every guest has the experience to be interviewed on a podcast.

Here are some tips on how to do it!👌

Tech side:
- Does your guest has the mic set up correctly?
- Do they have headphones to wear?
- Did they turn off the AC, closed the windows, and told their environment that they are on a podcast interview?

Recording:
- Set up your recording. If you use Zoom, make sure you record on 2 separate files

Prepare and lead with confidence
- What is the purpose of this episode?
- Do you ask the right questions to support the purpose of this episode?
- Share your interview questions with your guest so that they can prepare

Promotion
- Is your guest prepared to promote his offer
- Is the offer of your guest something that your audience needs?
- Does your guest has a special promo code for your listeners?
How about you? How do you prepare your podcast guest for an interview?

How exciting! You launched your podcast, did some solo episodes, and now it's time for your first interview!
But how do you pitch your podcast to guests?

1. Do your research 🔍
- what is their expertise?
- Is your audience relevant to them?
- Is there content relevant to your audience
- Have they been on a podcast before?

2. Build a relationship 🤝
- Engage with their posts
- Find common ground
- Start a conversation in DM

3. Pitch 📣
- If you use an email script, make it personal
- Tell them what you can do for them, what do they get out of it being a guest on your show
- Tell them that they can use this episode also for their own content/ podcast
- If they don't replay, send a follow-up email

4. Close the pitch 🕴
- Share time options with them
- Let them know when you want to air the episode
- share some examples from previous guest (if you have)

5. Where to find guest: 💎
- Your network
- Facebook groups
- Instagram

How do you pitch to your potential guests? 🤗

Congratulations! 🎉Your podcast is out in the air, but how do you make sure that your listeners will stay tuned till the end of the episode?🤷‍♀️

Okay, we're spilling some tips on what you can do to grow your podcast audience and make your listeners crave for more content from you!

These are the same tips we always tell our clients to grow their audience. You don't need to overthink them or spend loads of time on them. Do you promote your Podcast❓❓
Podcasts are on the rise. Many people are listening to podcasts even when some of the episodes are over an hour long. We can determine that there is a high engagement rate right there.
Though challenging, you can still make a successful podcast in any niche. You just need to make the best content and market your content to the right audience on social media.💯

Here are 4 tips for you to grow your audience:
- Promote your Podcast on your social media accounts - Create solid and consistent social media content for your PodcastPodcast. Create audiograms, quotes, and graphics of your episodes and share them.

- Niche Down - One trick to quickly narrow your focus is to think about who your podcast is for, not just what it’s about.

- Promote Your Podcast With Email - If you’re building a new list from scratch, you can grow your email subscriber list by utilizing your existing marketing channels to spread the word. If you already have an email list, share your podcast episode also with your email list.

- Be a guest on other podcasts - Being a guest on other shows with a similar audience is a great way to get exposed to new people and make new connections.

Remember that sustained audience growth requires time and effort. It might be a while before your podcast takes off, and that's okay. What matters most is that you enjoy and love what you're doing!
Happy Podcasting! 💯
