💙 Bio Science Park Excursion (BSPE)
explore leading companies at the Leiden Bio Science Park and connect with professionals in biotech, pharma, and beyond. The day includes company visits, start-up presentations, networking drinks, and a free lunch.

💙 Bètabanenmarkt (career event) meet your future employer right at the Faculty of Science. Discover the many career paths within science and technology, follow presentations and workshops, join a speed date with a company, or have your LinkedIn picture taken.

The new job portal of the Leiden Bio Science Park is now live!

What does becoming a board member entail?
Apart from organizing the Bio Science Park Excursion and the Bètabanenmarkt, it helps to:
- Build an extensive network
- Develop valuable organizational skills
- Give your CV a significant boost
- And for sure, it guarantees lots of fun!

If you are curious to know more, feel free to join our board interest evening on the 9th of April at 17:00 or directly show your interest by signing up via our board interest form (link in bio)!

The deadline to sign up is on the 21st of April.

What a day! 😁 The Bètabanenmarkt of last Wednesday has been a day full of conversations and new connections. A heartfelt thank you to all the participating companies, students, and especially to our amazing crew members who made this possible!

Nearly 1500 visitors made it to our event – we hope you had lots of fun and many new encounters. Perhaps the event even helped you to get ideas for your future orientation?

If you enjoyed the event as we did, please fill in our survey for crew members or students (link in bio). We will reflect on what went well and where we can improve for next year. Your feedback is invaluable.

See you again during our Bio Science Park Excursion on 28th of November 2025 or next year during the next market!

This includes your QR code which has been sent via mail and your ID or passport.
Also remember to bring something to drink and your CV in case you’d like to get it checked.

About the event:

Registering the market is possible between 10:00 - 15:30.
Market: 10:00-16:00
Networking drinks: 16:00-18:00

Location: Faculty of Science, Main Entrance (Gorlaeus Building), Einsteinweg 55
Workshops, speed dates and presentations: Check your schedule if you're registered for a session.

✨There is only one week left until the Bètabanenmark!✨

In one week at 10:00 the doors of the Bètabanenmarkt will open and give students access to a job fair with over 40 companies.

If you have signed up for activities like the speed dates or are on the backup list of a workshop, please keep your mailbox checked to not miss our mails giving further information in case you were selected for a speed date or someone dropped out of a workshop!

Note that the job market is open from 10:00 to 16:00. You can enter the market until 15:30 at latest and it is followed by networking drinks until 18:00.
